Ill explain it in a more simple way.
A clan is where you can meet up with other people and attend fun events such as parties, vps, ceos and other fun events. There are a lot of clans you can join so dont just look at the top clans on the list and be done with it. Have a look at about 10 clans then think about which one to join. Never ever let someone make you join a clan by saying that their clans really good on a random thread that isnt event their clan thread because thats just spam and going off topic. They can only say that their clan's good if their on a thread where someone's asking for reccomended clans.

^He pretty much got it. Also, if you want, you could make your own clan (like I did). Just start a thread with the clan name asking people to join. Eventually, you will come up with jobs that people can get to help you run the clan. You will also create a schedule of the events you want your clan to do and when. It's a lot of work, but in the end (which I haven't yet reached), it's worth it. Oh, my clan is The Toons of the World United Clan. I also made the Clans United Organization, which is a group of clans. Have fun!

A clan is a group of people who plan and do stuff together.
Example: CCG, CRL, GTTG, THRH, etc... There is prob a better definination in the dictionary.
