Monday Night Madness Summer 2008

Monday Night Madness

New For Summer 2008

Late Night Runs for Late Night Players

TCB Monday Night Mini-Marathons

We will meet on Monday Evenings in Goofy Valley

Different Marathon Each Week

Time: 7:00pm Pacific/10:00pm Eastern/9:00pm Central

Event to Run for 4 Hours

Our events are open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of TCB. You may collect treasures for your maxed toons and/or bring your working toons. The goal is to have fun and work together to collect treasures fast.

***Remember to board the elevators quickly and do not shuffle for friends. We do try to balance the loads, so if 9 toons are ready to go, we will go in two groups, one of 4 toons, one of 5 toons. If you are on the elevator with at least 3 other toons, we expect you to stay on.***

Teleport toons may be available. You can friend the teleport toons for a free ride to the events to speed up the treasure collecting. Feel free to delete when you are finished with the event.

Schedule is subject to change, so please check this thread for updated information. Specific event information will be posted under appropriate threads.

June 16 VP SOS Shopping *please read instructions carefully*
June 23 CJ Marathon
June 30 CFO Marathon
July 7 CJ Marathon
July 14 CFO Marathon
July 21 CFO Marathon
July 28 VP SOS Shopping *See thread for directions on using task manager*

August 4 CFO Final Monday Night Event!

More dates will be added later.

Just wanted to point out that since SOS shopping has been making toons go sad, we might need to change those dates.

I need more feedback about CJmarathons. About half of the people who attended the last one, will only attend if we do stunless and the other half will only attend of we stun. Either way, that makes the attendance too small. If we have more people showing up, we could go in 2 different groups. However, we can't count on more people showing up, as the Monday night attendance has been at a fairly consistent number.

LadyTrixie was on vacation last Monday. I missed her a lot. I was so happy to get a picture of her in the mail the next day in the TT mailer. Heehee. I just wanted to give her a shoutout.

I'd prefer stunless because it is a lot faster with experienced players. However, if we have to stun, I'd say let the players who didn't get any bonus weight do it. But I really think we should do stunless because that is the only way unexperienced players are going to learn how to avoid evidence. Practice makes perfect no?

I'd say perfects is judged by the eye of the beholder.
I don't care what we do; although, if people want to stun I do suggest the ones with no bonus points stun, as well. Either way, I'll go on any run, I really don't care as long as I get some summons!

SOS shopping not working out is really a HUGE bummer for me. Maybe we can stay up until after cog round? Ugh, but thats slow unless we get lucky consistently.

Isn't stunless and no stunning the same thing?

I decided to put this coming week down for CJ marathon. I agree that those with bonus weight should scale. I'm all for the go in and do what you feel like doing thing, but for some reason people don't do that. I say if people want to stun cogs, let them stun. I really don't care other than I just want to get in and out ASAP. Having all scalers doesn't make it quicker if 5 of them never hit the scale.

As far as having the event run later, it usually does go on later. People can run as long as they want. LadyTrixie and I just don't want to be stuck there. I can barely stand to play for longer than 2 hours at a time. The last CJ Marathon continued for probably an hour longer than the schedule.

SOS Shopping - That is LadyTrixie's favorite event, so I am waiting for her to get back to see if she still wants to hold those in some way. I can't stand fighting the first set of cogs and then logging out, because after a few bad cards, everyone needs to buy gags again and I just think I'd rather stay for the whole VP or just not go. But, like I said, if she wants to hold some type of SOS shopping and other people are willing to go, we will have those on our schedule.

I'm sure most of the people that go on these runs are maxed but it isn't a requirement of the runs.

Just remember that planning to go stunless only works if the average suit size is enough to get the extra cogs and hammers.

I can do either myself and may attend the next one since i need summons.

If they stun, I stun, if they don't, I don't......although I will reiterate any tips for dodging evidence by the pros is appreciated as I pretty much stink at it
