Current SOS Shopping?

I will soon be a HW50, and would like to start SOS shopping maybe this weekend or next week, but I'm curious if many people are shopping currently with BBHQ out.

I realize you don't have to be maxed to shop, but I know it's much better when you are maxed as you can go in anytime you please. If people currently shop at the scheduled times, let me know so I can attend. Thanks.

If you post that you are going to SOS shop, lots of toons should show up. Not sure about the schedule; I just go during the non-scheduled runs posted by myself/others.

ok thanks... I've never shopped before, so I wanted to know how things went... I'm in great need of certain cards, especially bessie's and Flippy's... since my doodle stinks, I can't rely on him when by myself... but I would like to collect any of the 5-stars

I'm maxed and would love to join you. I just can't be on that much during the day. I have 2 young kids that keep me pretty busy! I'm good for a while after 8pm Mountain.
I want to collect all the goods too! My toon is Captain Crazy, purple monkey, 122 laff, no drop.

Captain Crazy, are you friends with Deputy Snuffy? It was late, so I may have had you mistaken, but we did a DA D with our mutual friend if that was you.

Ok, I'll probably set up a shopping time probably in the range of starting 7 or 8pm MT (8 or 9pm CST) one of these days (unsure of times I can play). How long do people usually post before they shop for best results? The morning of the shopping? Just before you start?

Also, I don't want to go with randoms, as it would be horrible to be the last man standing at 70 laff and unmaxed gags, so what procedures/speedchat phrases do you have in place to prevent this?

I've found it makes no difference if you post you are shopping right then or if you are at a later time. If you don't want to shop with randoms, then don't post at all and go with a group of your sf's. I don't know of anyone that would intentionally let another toon go 'sad' in a battle. Those that are with TCB know to split a group when there's enough for 2 elevators, but too many for 1. Example: 10 toons show = 2 groups of 5

I'm sorry, I think you misunderstood my post. My definition of "randoms" here, are people not intending to shop. They're just "randomly" there. Lol, I'm not the one with 70 laff and unmaxed gags, but I can just see someone being dropped in the district and going to fight the VP, and *poof* everyone leaves. What are the procedures in place to make sure everyone is there to shop. I'm 115 with all gag tracks maxed... and know that if I see everyone disappear, that I'd best be closing Toontown

Sorry if you think I suggested that it would be someone's intention here to make someone go sad, I just don't want someone going in for a VP run and not even knowing about shopping to have everyone disappear on them.

I think by randoms he means people that are already in or show up in the district and dont know about sos shopping, Normally i post im shopping in the need to know what district shoppers are in thread, if randoms start showing up in the district you can say "jump" and everyone moves up a district. Then just post that you had to move. and FYI: make sure you have someone there that knows the cards and can call "run" or "stay" or else you guys might find yourself sad or in for a bad card.

I would be interested in a good few hours of shopping- just give me details! Now that I am working Boss, I would enjoy some good cards. My stockpile is running low
