Calling Run on Bessie

To the toons who called Run on Bessie:

I hope you had a great laugh on my account.... As a infrequent shopper, I rely on someone to call Stay or Run. The other afternoon someone in the group I was with said Run after seeing the card. I do not know the cards by sight very well, so without delay I ran. When I came back on my friend who was there said it was Bessie and the rest of them had stayed, including the toon who had said run. Very funny.

To Cory, James, Jon and the rest of you who lead the TCB:

What a cool group you have formed. It seems like every elite toon is a member. Sadly, it never occurred to me not to trust toons in the TCB, however, this incident changed my view on that. I would like to shop with the group but I don't think I will load the elevator without someone I completely trust to help me. Further I will never again go with the toon mentioned above. If that is unacceptable then you will have to let me know. As the saying goes-Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I am going to be much more careful.

Finally, to my dear friend Bob:

I apologize to you for giving you a hard time for staying in the VP with those toons. I know you have my best interests at heart and have always done your best to help me. You know me, I fuss first and think about it later. A Bessie is a Bessie. I suppose if I'm gonna be a shopper I'd better learn what she looks like.

Happy Shopping!

That's happened a couple times, you're not the only time.

Not much I can do about it. People just have to know, if you aren't positive about the card, don't say anything! I was thinking maybe if we can get some pictures of the far away view of the 7 SOS Cards, members can look and study them sort of so they have an easier time recognizing them from a far view.

Hope you still continue to shop, it was just one incident, shouldn't be a frequent one.

You dont have to run on the ramp

I can't identify it most of the time FOR SURE on the ramp. I'm getting better. But to better educate myself I sometimes wait til I see the cage close up to alt out. I trust the folks in here and with the thousands of calls no group can be 100 percent perfect. Depending on my mood, I sometimes wait to see the cage close up, not because I don't trust the RUN call but because it has helped me see it better overall from any view.

One night the other 4 toons all said, "Which way? Can you help me?" So I did call it at the close up cage view and everyone got out. Not the best, but it worked. Otherwise I don't call it.

I essense most ppl have lots of time to alt out and not get stuck. You can alt out at teh cage view. Also, It seems most groups kindof wait around to see if the same ppl get back. So if you have a slow computer or get cogged or wait to see the cage close up I don't think they will leave you behind. That's my experience.

I don't have any sfs in here and I have found it works pretty well.
