i think we need a questions and ideas thread as a title again.. just because when people have questions it doesnt fit in what would you do if this was your guild.. and sometimes giving an opinon doesnt mean thats exactly how they would do it or would change it but simply saying heres my suggestion

Okay, okay. Lets forget about those times. No ones going to pay attention. Simple solution: If you REALLY REALLY want to get more tu cards or more lure cards, just create a simple thread in this guild and write the date & time. |

So what do we all like better, 3 different districts or just stay for all 9 SOS Cards?
Chances are, most of the times we won't get one of these cards anyways. Lgz

The question was brought up will there be enough people to carry 3 districts. Sometimes yes I think there will, other times there will not. This is going to force people to compromise, go to whatever district most people are shopping in and go with the flow, and I see nothing wrong with that. What I see as a serious issue, and I would like to change, is people feeling they have to try and avoid certain toons because they do not shop for their card in the main district, and believe me this happens ALL the time. It would also be helpful if people would use the district thread when they are shopping and post where they are. This will help avoid a lot of hopping around. I still like James idea of adding an extra card in at certain times that we will stay for however. This keeps everyone in the same district allowing more opportunities for larger and more steady groups. I really do not think it is a big deal if between 12 and 5 we agree not to run on Mel.. I'm not real sure though about adding 4 cards to the next run. I think that is asking a lot. Any which way I am glad we are working towards a solution. The leaders of this clan have worked very hard and it really bothers me to see so many people unhappy. Once again, trust me, those the most unhappy will never post here, but I sure am hearing it. Hope we can find a compromise.

If the times are kept simple, it will be easy to follow. James you don't mention time zone.
How will we know if people are cheating? If they are doing so in the shopping district then someone will rat them out {*bellyflops*}. If they get away with it, and there is no one there to know the difference, then it really is not hurting anyone so nothing to worry about. James has put a LOT of thought and time into this. I really think it can't hurt to try. 4 cards though in the one time slot might be kinda rough to get participation for. Just throwing that out there. I don't care, I will, but bet most will not want to add 4 cards they will have to stay for in one time slot.

Well if we just stay for all nine it wont hurt anything..the chances of an unwanted card is slim and wont have to stay for many they cant get too mad anyway theres 7 others they get all the time and if they try it in river they are more likly not to even get a good card..
If there is a certain time to shop for a certain card people will get confused and it will be more of a bother.. and cause confusion to toons who shop but havnt fount ttc yet ..so they arent members

If those become the only run times, then it should stop a majority of the people from breaking that rule. On the other hand, you can't stop people PMing each other, so that's a problem there. But first and foremost, we need to make this a full fledged announcement so everyone knows that we're making several changes here. So, if permission is given, I'd would like to make a thread discussing this announcement regarding the changes we have made. |

This is why we always end up saying to just stay for 7 cards. This is the third time we have had a major discussion about adding more cards into the deck.
Just decide what is best and let us know. My current 2 cents on the issue is that we stay for the original 7 all of the time and have a special day/district for the others. I would only add in Wavers and Daffy on the special day. Those who want a cogs miss/toons hit should just have a special run because the vast majority of us do not want those cards. |

I'm willing to give it a shot, but here are my thoughts...
I think you're going to end up with a lot of threads and people complaining that people are staying for cards at the wrong times... until school starts and there are fewer shoppers. After schools starts you're going to have a problem with the kids who don't get to shop for Wavers because that run time is while they are in school. My personal opinion is that sticking to the original 7 is the best plan for a number of different reasons. I dont care either way, though... I have my favorites, but I'm here for the fun and camaradarie and I'll stay for anybody's favorites anytime. If we decide to give this a try we're going to have to be very patient for a while until everyone figures the new times out and the new cards (I'm envisioning lots of hesitation as people try to determine if the toon in the cage is one of the new ones and if its the right time of day to stay or run for it. Mistakes are gonna happen). |

The thing is, some people, one way or another, will break the rule in some way whether or not we have a rule against it. We can't have everybody obey to the rules, but we do want to enforce them. Even after the statement the no one could shop for an eighth SOS card anymore, I saw that in the stats, there were still some Melody Wavers runs that were not organized or scheduled. And there may have been some that some didn't even report for the reason of them not wanting anyone to know that they broke the rules. I personally think that we stick with what we have shown above, since it will please a lot of people and keep things just a tad more organized here. |
