Theres a blue button like this on top of the page. You have to click back from this thread first. Make sure to include the date, time, district, and which sos cards you want. Please make it only a one day/time run, not re-occuring. You'll have to make another thread later on if you still wan't more of those runs.

Ask if you need more help.

I think these are all good ideas. Some thoughts on the sos shopping though.

OK, the clan banned staying for an 8th card, but realistically this is not working.

There are some that collect Wavers, the majority of people I do believe.
The other major percentage collect Daffy.
Then there is a small percentage that want cogs miss/hit.

Personally, when I bail on a daffy, it hurts because I collect him. I am sure those that collect Mel also cringe when they have to bail on her.

What I am witnessing, even though NO ONE wants to admit it, is a lot of people forming into groups and not wanting to run with those that do not collect their card for this reason.

As I tried to point out earlier, and rather unsuccessfully because I was angry, is that I can hardly blame people for wanting to stay for their card or for wanting to run with those that will also stay, but this is not promoting good teamwork.

I have an idea I would like to throw out there. It is sorta in the works except nothing official. Maybe official would be better.

3 permanent districts are set up.

Bouncytown as the main shopping district.
Only stay for the 7 cards.

Crazy River as the Wavers shopping Dist.
Self explanatory.

Pick a 3rd district for Daffy.

Now those shopping for a specific card can check those districts to see if there is anyone shopping. If there is then everyone there knows they are on the same page and WILL stay for that card.

If someone wanted to shop and there was no one in Crazy River, then naturally they can go to Bouncytown but with the understanding that they will not even attempt to stay for an additional card.

Same goes for those wanting to shop for Daffy.

On the other hand, if I go to bouncytown and there is no one shopping, and pop over to Crazy River to see if there is anyone there and there is, I do so with the understanding that I WILL stay for Wavers.

My only issue with this is would there be enough people to pull this off? I'm not sure BUT, it would give everyone a fair opportunity to shop for their card and anyone shopping in Bouncytown would know they will not even try and split into unfair groups to try for their card.

Just a few thoughts. It really irks me to be ditched because I do not collect Mel, especially since that card is not an official card. I know from talking to friends there are a LOT (a real lot) that are in agreement with me, just not as vocal. Trust me when I say this is a huge issue.

I would really like to see a fair and workable solution so everyone can get a fair shake at their cards and no one is left behind because of it. Either that or stay for daffy and Mel. I would gladly go for that solution also. I just hate to see people refusing to board with those they know do not want to stay for their card. It's.. frustrating.

But the issue we have here is that everyone would overload into the Melody Wavers district and leaving few or even none left in the other two districts. My point is here that because so many people want Melody Wavers, even if there were a decent amount of people that wanted to shop for Daffy as well. There's going to be that one district that few or none will be shopping in, causing the system to pretty much collapse.

I think it's best we stick the cards we have now. We might decide to do another card in the future, but at the moment, I think we'll stick with what we've got.

To bring up a new order of discussion, I've noticed that a lot of people have been complaining about late run times. Although we can't make everyone happy, we have to find some system that will allow us to either not have late run times, or find an alternative way to those who can't make late run times.

Just want to shout it out again, but those run reports stats have been put on to a chart on page one of this thread on an attachment and are ready for calculating.

I've enjoyed reading this thread, but I see where most of us think that 4 maxed toons should go to a vp. I joined the group 7-5-07 and now have 500 to 600 sos cards(yes i know thats on 5 toons)so i've been active shopping for sos cards. I see many toons that if they went as a group of lets say 4 wouldnt have a close stunner. Can you win without that? Of course you can.
But i think sometimes we are in such a hurry to get the sos cards we are not letting some of the others try their hand at that. I know when i go with certain ones(like CCE, JC, Dude, Supermonkey, Jon and many others i just stay out of their way). Maybe the group could have some runs where others could try their hand at that with some of us as backup. I think that is one of the problems with some wanting to go with certain toons. And i know that its the puter and the latency as much as anything else, but as a group we should try to help the others that want to give it a try. This may not make much diff to most but i know of at least one shopping trip that was lost in the pie round by four maxed toons.(rumor has it...lol)......Rambling again....Bob (ps when i go i still expect those that i named to do all the work....;-)~......)

I like it! If it was my guild, I would post old screenshots of the members so we could feel all sentimental of days gone by.

I'm not sure if I am reading this correctly or not. If you are suggesting that we let others have a chance at learning/mastering close stunning, I agree, but not in these runs. The reason for that is that these runs have been put together to be as fast as possible.

On the other hand, I have been wanting to master close stunning myself. I really think that if we are going to do runs like that, we need to do a run in a different district. I'm sure if you or I posted a thread asking for help with that, enough people would attend. If someone doesn't schedule a day like that, I will eventually. I have a lifestyle that puts me in a position that makes it very difficult for me to schedule events, as many times I find out at the last minute that I need to leave.

You know, my thoughts on this were if that many people collect Wavers then it should just be included. If there are 90% that want her I would stay if she was included. Im not trying to be difficult, just see a problem that is frustrating a lot of people and trying to think of a workable solution. No need to try and make me look like an idiot. Plenty of things come to mind to say in return, but I think for once I will just zip it.

People are already shopping for Mel in Crazy River, so whats wrong with making it a permanent district for that card? That's wrong? If everyone goes there then what does that say? If people want to shop they will stay for that card. I think that's fair.

Either way - I'm done.

Exclamation Set times for the 8th card...

Lets work together! I really think this can work. James has some good ideas as far as giving everyone a chance at their choice of the 8th card.

Here is what he is thinking and I think it's a good idea!

Melody Wavers 12 PM - 5 PM
Daffy Done - 5 PM - 7 PM
Cog's Miss - 7 PM - 8 PM

Then the rest of the day would be just shopping for the 7 I assume?

When you think about it, even if you are shopping during the time that it is not for your card, odds are you will get many more of the cards you do collect than the "one" that you do not.

The more people we can have in one district, the more chance we all have to shop. You will notice the hours are based on the amount of people looking for those cards. There are many more hours set for Mel than for daffy, and less for cogs miss, which again (even though I collect daffy) I think is fair.

That's actually a good idea. I also like the idea of having 3 districts; One for Melody, one for Daffy, one for only the 7 main cards.

The problem with any idea is getting everyone to enforce it though.

I'll go with you guys any time and you can practice all you want! Bob you can bring both your toons, np.. Take turns back and front, you and Jodi.. I'll jump one toon and knock him down from the ramp with the other. Just let me know when you want to give it a go, days are best for me as this is when I have time to shop.

I'm not in a rush to get through and have let many friends practice for solo's and such. I love it!
