Well Cory... About the team thing, there isn't really much you can do on that. If they seem like they're lying the match could be a tie or no one wins, but there isn't a sure fire way to absolutely make certain of the timers honesty. I would volunteer to be a timer, if they are open as a position.

The dancing thing, also, you cannot do much about. Perhaps Alting after the completion of the round? No 7s allowed during cogs? I'm not really sure on this one..

For the Cj, Blinky and I have been discussing a few things. Different strategies on runs(No stunning, 2 or 3 stunners, only keeping the 9th and 10th cogs stunned...etc.) Raceing against groups, and competeing against the groups to see what group can seat the most toons. And for the CFO, I dont know how we could be absolutely sure on which group finishes first. I guess the best thing we can do is trust eachother. Unless there is a sure way to know, I sure cant think of one.

I think when the train hits the CFO is when you should stop the timer. That would exclude tasks/7's while dancing. I don't think people will trip over times. They are there to get fast unites.

I also have a few questions of my own:

Did you noticed that the SoS: Cards Post your runs here! is now SoS Cards : Lucky Runs Report!? Is that better?

I add 4 rules, do you think we need more or what do you think about them?

How should people join? There are 3 groups. They will see the join thread first and will read it. Should I make links to redirect them to the specific group to join? Or if they want to just join then post in the sticky.

Timers are basically anyone, you don't have to volunteer or anything to do it; just time the run. But we do need to communicate through the thread to make sure AT LEAST one person is timing the run. The CFO leaders thread or any thread associated with it can be used for communication and timing.

Owoooo! Maybe if the race is to see who can meet in DDL PG, in that district the fastest! For example, as soon as the CFOs done and everyone starts dancing and you have recieved your unite, one or many people Alt F4 to see if they can get to DDL PG before the other team (unless someone from that team is already there). The whole team or most of it may decide to log off at dance to try to beat the other team.

I don't like the idea of no 7's during cog round. The whole idea of the clan was to have fun by getting unites quickly. Without level 7's it slows a lot down. Plus, how are we going to know if they used 7's or not.

Yeah, Tub O Lard, Doctor Mac, and I have been discussing that too.

We've come up with... Marathon Saturdays, Timed Tuesdays (racing against other teams basically), Stunless Sundays (no stunning cog jurors), and some others. Dunno if they are going to put in effect but just thinking up some ideas. Things could totally change at any given time.

Ya, I like the new thread name.

I like the rules, but is there an assigned person that will say run or stay? I have been on a few where nobody said anything. And im sure alot of people cant always tell who is who(includeing myself)

I like the idea of adding the links in the original joining thread. Maybe something like If you would like to sign up for the CFO Leaders, click here -insert link here-

i have a suggestion for the cfo leaders clan thing .. wen u sed whoever finishes first we wouldnt know n stuff.

how about before 2 teams goes into a run .. one person (WHO IS NOT IN THE RUN) can be like "the judge" n that judge would be the timer for both teams. they would have the clock start rite wen the teams enter the elevators (thats why 2 teams should be in 2 different districts and one person from each team should keep a whisper to "the judge" n the second all the members of that team enters the elvator, they would whisper "ok rdy go") the judge would then wait for the 2 teams to cfo, and which ever team beats the cfo first n wins, the second the cfo is being run over n the second the first toons starts dancing, all of the ppl in that cfo X out .. and the person that was being the judge would look and see who logged out first, clicks "lap" on the timer n that would be the winning team. that way they would figure out the time for both teams also. another way is the judge person can use 2 different timers and start them at the same time.

another way that this can be done is, the person that is being served as the judge should be sfs with at least one person from each team thats in the cfo run. and it is the responsibility of that person that is sf with "the judge" to x out the second their team starts dancing in that cfo. maybe that would be a bit less confusing..but yea thats jus my opinion..

Thats a good idea, but the only problem with that would be that they dont start at the same time. You would have to add or subtract the 30 seconds for the elevator to leave.

ya u have a good point, maybe both teams should be in 2 diff districts n the judge person should whisper to the 2 leaders of each group n the moment the judge whispers they would get in the elevator to start the timer n the rest of their teams would go in. so basically the judge would call the time for the leaders of each group to start the timer in the elevator so it they would all start at the same time. N this is the part where u have to chose wisely who u want in ur group cuz if one person goofs off and delays your group then that is ur fault

Ya, this just kinda goes back to trusting people that they wont hop on before they tell them to.

That's way too complicated though; probably wouldn't work out. And plus... who's gonna wanna be the judge... that's boring...

I'm also thinking for the CFO leaders thread... for one day of the week, it'd just be all quick CFO runs... basically a marathon. So we can get many, many CFO's for that day. Just one day of the week (Sat or Sun).

I think most people know since most are maxed players. They just didn't bother to say it but logged out. I'll add that to the rules maybe that will help.

This guild will be huge though. We can't depend on SF'ing others and stuff like that. It needs to be simple. Everyone will be responsible for timing. Thats only for the racing day's, remember they're not all racing. For those who are leaders, they can buy speedchat phrases "My how time flies!" to acknowledge the team that they are timing.

And this would give them points for participation right?

Yeah we could try. We can never expect what will happen. We may even find out new ways just by trying.
