Ohh, I'll tell ya.
Its only worth it if your sf is on the otherside and you want to talk to them, but In my point of view, you gotta be sure to go back to the side your on every now and then so you can see which cog to hit. Its a distracion, but only to the person whos doing it.
Its only fun because you get to throw pies at everyone ;D

I am new to the TCB.
And I beileve that I have been taken for a random, to reply to CCEs post.
Thats a big issue, but its hard to resolve.
I think maybe get a pharse like "Lets go to Toontown Central!" or something, if the person replys yes, they are not a random?
Something like that could help us out. and most the time, if they are random they will say 'Huh?" because they think you are rreferring that they are new.

Issue #1
Thats a big issue, but its hard to resolve.
I think maybe say a phrase like "Lets go to Toontown Central!" or something, if the person replys "Yes", they are not a random?
Cause a random would think that you are referring them as a "new toon" or a low laffer.
Something like that could help us out.

Dilemma 1-I agree that most of the toons in this group are very tight, and tend to stik together, but I still think they are welcome to new people. One suggestion might be to split up the more experienced players, but the problem I have with this is that they are friends. And isnt the point of this to have fun while getting cards? Its usually more fun with friends.....

Dilemma 2-Ummm go for it? I dont really get what this is asking, to make a sig that says we welcome everyone?

Dilemma 3-I think a new thread would be nice. But most of the time, if there is a problem with randoms, they will go up one district. So just check there. But I suppose a thread for posting the ditrict you are in would help in the confusion.

Dilemma 5-It would be easiest to simply post in whatever thread you want to be apart of. So if you want to be apart of the CFO leaders and The SOS shopping, post that you wish to be a member in each thread. Not too hard.

Dilemma 6-I think it may be good to have a thread for every day of the week. "Monday lucky run reports" Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.

Dilemma 7-Most toons alt out or use the book trick while danceing to get back as quick as possible, so maybe simply take a pic while on the elevator and add a toon or take one off as needed as the group changes. And simply count the attempts. And maybe report them all when you are done. So you may be repoerting 2-10+ at a time.

Dilemma 8-I personally havent had a problem with this. When we have 7 or 8 on the elevator and more toons come in, some will hop off and say "stay" until we have equal numbers.

No very in depth in solveing this stuff, just throwing ideas out.

Here are my thoughts on some of these issues:

Issue 1 - I have to kind of agree with this and kind of not. Often times there are those groups of SF's who are always together and sometimes I feel a little left out and wish I had someone to talk to. But at the same times everyone is very warm and inviting and it's very nice when everyone says "You guys are great" or "Good teamwork" which has been pretty often now. I am in now way saying that everyone needs to SF everyone so everyone can feel "welcome". I think a little goes a long way, even a can make someone feel involved.

Issue 2 - I think signatures promoting the group would be great, what have you got to lose. Sadly, some people (like me ) don't have siggys so we won't be able to use them. But for everyone else I think it's a great idea.

Issue 3 - I think that a separate thread would be nice. I agree with that statement about toons with no friends as I have been there.

Issue 4 - Hmm, not too sure about this one. I think that we can make either another separate thread like in the CCG "Unscheduled Runs" or have it in one of the exsisting threads.

Issue 5 - I think the simplest answer would be to post in the So you would like to become a member and just write whether or not you want to join SOS, Unite or both. It is after all, probably the first place new member will go to get info about signing up. Or you could have a separate thread with a link directing toons to that thread from the So you want to be a member thread.

Issue 6 - Your idea about this is pretty good. I don't think this is a HUGE issue.

Issue 7 - I think your suggestions for this are great. It actually motivated me to report more often. I agree though sometimes for people who go on 10+ runs it gets a little tiring. But I'll make sure I post my runs. I don't think there is a way to make everyone post every run but I think that giving people tips and asking them to post would be a start. I think if you are using a Windows, what I do, is I open a note pad or a Word document, make it teeny tiny and during the pause between the round I jot down quick notes and then I just do the run reports later. For Mac users you could use the stickies application. I have a question as well. Do the runs have to be right after the run. Or can you say do 10 runs and then after them all, report them then.

Issue 8 - A strategy thread would be great! It benefit everyone. Those who don't play so well would learn to play better. And those who play well won't have to deal with those how play with bad strategy . I think it should be both a place to share strategy and to ask for strategy tips.


Also, a side note. If you notice everyone is tight nit. The SF thread doesn't seem to be very active and that's because most of the members have all their friends lists filled up. What should we do with the SF thead?

I dont think it should be allowed because it causes some players to lag, and affects the players game on some occasions. I think it would be best for everyone if they didnt. Unless everyone on the run is friends and are cool with it.

I would not recommend doing that glitch in the runs because there are a lot of people that get annoyed when people do it. It can be harmless, but if we are having members getting upset because someone was glitching, then it not worth doing it. I would rather have our members be happy than then getting upset over something we CAN avoid.

Issue 1 - Theres no point in trying to split up sfs or whatever. Maybe try and get TCB members to wave and be friendly to people.

Issue 2 - Just make a signature saying treasure chest box, sos shopping, cfo leaders, new members welcome? If you maybe make a thread about designing a signature and post it there so other toons can put it in their sigs...

Issue 3 - I say make one thread about communicating districts and internet problems...

Issue 4 - I don't really understand this issue.

Issue 5 - I say just pick the one you want to join or both. Also if you want to be a TCB member say you want to with your post.

Issue 6 - I really like your idea for this issue, its bad to do days because we don't shop everyday (or do we?). I don't know since I've recently came back.

Issue 7 - I say copy and paste names from old posts and just edit card and attempts. Also if more people or less come fix that too, I usually do this during the rounds and while attempting... (helps me keep track of the tries).

dilema #1 io would say switching districts shuffling seems rude for ppl who dont know what we are doing.

for#2 yea we could say that and lets go to ttc.

#3 i could help if im in a elevator with them and if u dont know what to say theirs the front page of tcb and see what cards were getting so u can say run or stay.

#4 maybe ppl that are sf with them can tell them to shh.

#5 i guess the onl thing to say is that get their first and say im helping a freind

#6 i really dont know about that but if htey need a tu then they should tu them up.

Ooh. I have an idea.
Because all laffs are welcome, most the time you won't be seeing a maxxed suits @ 70 laff. Soo..Why not, after a lucky run, we set up something for factorys? It won't be like "organized" but maybe get the word out there for people annoucing that if they need merits, factory with some others in the area?Maybe make it like so after every run, there would be a nice group set up at the elevators. Depending on how fast you are I know for a fact, that sereval times I see the others going for another run while I need merits. And I scury off to the factory seeing no one there. And plus, if people who were SOS shopping obvisiosly are smart. I hate being stuck with people who put marbles on a 12.
Maybe a little side group for those in need of merits?
