UK:Where did You find out about Toontown?

There's been a couple of polls and discussions about this recently, but I want a Non US perspective, as its more widely known about and advertised advertised is US then elsewhere. Especially interested in if new toons found it easier then older toons like me.

Late 2003 just before Sell HQ, August time I think.

How did you find Toontown?

I found out about it from tiny article in PC Magazine in the online gaming section, which I used to check for lastest updates or games.

Certainly never see anything before then, and not much since TBH.

Well I played it, around when Toontown started. But quit for a couple years then came back after finding a left over file in my computer, screenshot. I brought back some good memory's and I rejoined and with a. Well I found it on the Disney channel, and also have seen some advertisements on MMORG website.

I started playing Toontown about 1 year ago. I found TT by an ad on TV. Started with a trial account and ended up buying a full account.

There was an advert running I would guess about 18 months ago on one of the kids tv programmes on Sky (maybe Cartoon Network or similar), so let my son play free, then signed him up for an account as he was enjoying it so much. About 6 months later I 'helped' him a bit with his toon, saw how much fun it was, then ended up with my own account lol!

Well I joined the UK site last November, but I'd been playing with a Free US account for while before. (Can't remember exactly when)

I found through sheer chance, when I was browsing the RPG or kids section of the game downloads of the Mac website.

When did you Join Toontown?
First time I tried it, will be four years back.
I tried free trial mode. So, after two years I tried
free again. I got so catched. My mother tried to
pay, but she could not. She called TT thingy's,
and they showed her the UK site. Well, I had to start
from the beginning, but its all worth it! I love TT.

How did you find Toontown?
I was playing on the "Disney.com" site,
(not the same as now) And there was a place
with ABC Games, and other stuff. Like, Islands on a
map with lots of stuff. Then TT was one of the
Islands, so I checked it out. It was fantastic!
I got my sisters friend to play it too. She stopped now...

I first found out about toontown in August 2007 when my 29 year old son told me his son aged 5 had found this great game.

Now my grandson has moved on to another game but my son, his partner, my husband and I are addicted.

We have had an account since January 07. My daughter asked for help about April time last year and the rest is history. Taken over her account and also got a 2nd

I sometimes let her play her toons on one of the accounts

A friend at her school had a free TT account thats how we found out about it.

I was watching TV and i saw the advert and went straight to my laptop and registered and played. It was on disney channel, and i'm not suprised.
