Toontown on Vista - UK!

Hey Toons

can you not get Toontown to run on Vista and you play Toontown UK

well, I've only just figured this out. ** If you try and install Toontown directly from their website, the shortcut that comes with it is DAMAGED ***

I have included a Installer for Toontown and a Shortcut that has been edited, all you need to do is

1. Go to toontown.co.uk login, but don't press Play now, just stay logged in.
2. Click on the link to download the latest Toontown UK Launcher (NOT VISTA LAUNCHER, BUT DONT WORRY!) http://a.download.toontown.com/sv1.0...llLauncher.exe
3. Once installed, delete the Toontown Shortcut on the DESKTOP.
4. Drag and drop my Toontown Shortcut in the ZIP Folder onto the Desktop.
5. Double click the Shortcut on the Desktop, WALLAH! It will start the game once it redirects you to the Toontown UK Web launcher!
6. You must use the Shortcut on the desktop to use Toontown UK.

This may not be the Vista launcher, it is the Web launcher, but it actually works for now.

Once you've logged into toontown.co.uk, you should stay logged in, if not, just log into Toontown.co.uk before double clicking on the shortcut on the desktop.

NOTE: The shortcut in the ZIP is 100% VIRUS FREE. It is only a shortcut that enables you to log into Toontown.

Yes problem is when they upgrade, version number changes, therefore the link to launcher stops working, no one has updated the UK site since they first put the info about launcher up so its seriously out of date, yours is currently upto date so fine as link for now at least anyways

Use above posted link and/or zip until new update, if that produces no results try one below, copy and paste link below into your internet browser, then check front page of this forum for latest TT version. If the sv no. is different copy and paste new version no. in place of current one below.

Change version no. if TT is updated ^^^^^^, check TTC front page for lastest version on open.

P.S. that zip file is not dowloading a proper archive, at least for me anyways, maybe if someone else tries will find out if thats more widespread or not.

WinRAR

to open the Archive!
