UK TT site really slow?

Everytime I try to even load the site it takes like half an hour, it's ridiculous. Just wondering if everyone else has this problem. I waste loads of time just trying to log in

Thumbs down Me too!

Difference is that I am still on Toontown, but need to relog because I've been on for 9 hours straight! LOL!

Realised the UK site was having problems when I tried to log a second toon in and haven't dared to logout since!

I think it's appalling we have to suffer this in the UK. I bet the US website doesn't suffer these problems

The UK site loads rather fine for me. Takes a few seconds to load, not sure if that's normal because of the extra formatting on the page (such as images).
I've tried from two different locations and IPs and it seems to be fine.
And no, I have rarely seen the problem mentioned for the US server.

Are you in the US? The UK website is hosted over there, and so perhaps there's a problem en-route.

I just did a trace route, which seems to show quite a bit of packet loss. It starts 4 hops away from the Disney website. Perhaps on this occasion, blaming Disney is a mistake

EDIT: Shortly after making this post, the problem seemed to go away! Yipee!

Yes, I am in the US. Texas, specifically. I tested from a Texas computer and then a seattle, washington server.
I would've thought the UK server would be hosted in a UK Datacenter
Proves me wrong...^_^

It depends on your broadbrand and your internet connection. I have AOL 9.0 (Even though I'm not in the US) . The Toontown UK website takes about 10 seconds to load for me.

i have this problem but i know a solution.

you know when it gets really slow? cancel the load and refresh the page. it takes about 2-3 times sometimes to get it to fully load but it works.
