Whats the nature of the activex problem?

Have you checked internet explorer add ons section? Tools>Manage Add-ons... Change box at top to Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer. Locate Toontown Installer Activex control

If you can't find it at all, then your computer is not allowing any new activex of any kind on to the list, this is security thing. Recheck the security settings you have, maybe they have reset from custom to higher security.

Check this for security optionsPreparing TT for first install. It's pretty much same if we are talking XP, except XP doesnt have the extra protect mode security tab. Also important to note as it says in that link, that changes need to be made on adminstrative account, if comp is shared and there are user names for each member, both main(admin) and any user account needs same settings.

Make sure Run Activex controls and plugins and Script activex controls safe for scripting are both enabled aswell

If it is there then try updating it. As last resort you cud try disabling it and see what happens, may try to load another or a message may come up? - This you try at own risk!

I'm sure you can get activex program seperately somehow aswell, not sure how. You may be able to run seperately, if after checking security settings it still not giving you chance to accept activex.

That's about as much as I know.

It's interesting that spoofer runs ok, are you sure it is definately activex related.
