I have a couple of UK accounts and a US account (which my daughter is on). She was banned last week for parking (fair enough), but after the 72 hours ban, we had to call the US and leave a message on a machine, including telephone number.

Disney is supposed to call back, which they didn't, so we left another message, and again, no reply.

Last night we called a different (non-related to unbanning) number, and were told that the US offices won't call the UK - so be aware if you have a US account.

We are transferring our last US account over to the UK, as i'm tired of hearing stories of how easily US accounts are banned, for nonsense.

Presumably the UK accounts will be monitored to this degree in the future, which is when I shall consider quitting.

So if you have a US account, don't waste your time calling the number given, go through any other number but that.

Parking is a way to stay afk without getting kicked off the server.
And Fangs must likely your a person who bearly does anything considered bad... so that's why.

Keeping a toon awake while not at your keyboard playing, people use this so they can stay in the busy district for long periods, including leaving themselves in for friends aswell.

Disney Definition: Keeping toon online longer than 4 mins (without actually playing) that they give you before you go to sleep and log out.

I'm not so sure, they dont have the infrastructure in UK to go into it to far. We have different rules on data protection. And the euro server redirect probs makes monitoring harder.

This lack of infrastructure altho on the plus side allows us more freedom, on the down side the UK side gets less attention, and things dont get sorted as quick, just take the Vista situation, 10days or more and still we don't have proper launcher for uk Vista user to login normally.

It can't be that hard, if we have found our own simple solutions to the problem, but UK represents less than 25% of whole subs, and UK vista a lot less, so why bother.

So I reckon on this basis UK will never be monitored the same as US. If they start creating UK offices and call centres and Live chat like US, then we may have to start worrying

You're other points are very Valid, especially the banning.

Note: For those who are thinking of getting US account especially over Vista problems, if you do get banned, sounds like u need to call them after 72hours to reconnect (this i have read from a few sources now). Well theres no UK call centre, so you will have call USA, wait to get connected, all at inflated rates, and as Sally Sparkle Bunny has pointed out, they wont call you back if you're in the UK. Just something to think about.

Thats all fine and dandy, until they catch up with you one time, then you will find that you are permanently monitored, and banned constantly - i've seen it happen to pals already.

On a separate note, i've seen a few things written on this vista thing, im so clueless I dont know what it is - does it make the game better? do I download it from somewhere? Im fairly clueless with computer stuff eek!

Windows Vista

When new launcher was created for people having probs getting on TT on Vista. People in UK starting having probs getting on TT with Vista, even ones who were not B4. Probs side effect of the last update.

However there are a coouple of fixes floating about that seem to work. Even though TTUK's position is still that TTUK doesnt work on Vista yet. If you don't have Vista or not having any probs theres nothing to worry about.

I agree.Im in Toontown US and we have been having trouble getting them to send us the ToonTown newsletters.They have never replied to the messages we sent after our first complaint in Janurary.They even said all the way in Janurary that the newsletters would arive in 6 to 8 weeks.It's been about 55 weeks and still no newsletters.

P.S:I park all the time.I usally park so I can check the forums while playing toontown so that I dont have to log in all over again.

ive parked as well, but only on uk toontown were theres no mods.
i dont think mods will ever come to tt uk though, as its been up for at least 3 years i think theyd do it by now.

I park all the time. So I can finish making videos. I never got banned for that.
But, I got banned for somethin' else.
I called the number that was given for my unbanning and left a message.
They called back but, I missed the call and called to cancel my account.

toontown has been know to pass the "unhelpful" test with flying colours, but this is just...Come on. I see the reason why they wont call back, but that is not a very good reason.

Uhhhh...What I don't understand is how parking works. How can you stay awake in tt without moving every so often?
