Well I've mailed them about the sfs business, complimented them on look of new site, just so they at least feel like being helpfull, altho look and working of new site remains to be seen yet!
Tried to word it as if I dunno what to do for best, and wether i should wait for everything to settle down, in hopes they can get somthing to send me that says renew or wait, at least. However all devs will be busy with correcting bugs, so chances of swift reply are extremely low, and chances of getting anything they may be technical, zero. 'Keep it Kool '

This is getting very scary..i still have the frénch error page.
If i lose EVERYTHING, which is losing everything, (or going under 100 laff or losing a lvl 7 gag) i'm just going to rip my hair out, go to my nearest lawyer and sue toontown for everything theyve got. I mean, they've ruined EVERYTHING so far that i've read. This is probably the No. 1 error in the history of Toontown.Stuff like TT getting hacked and acting like some kind of hostile program and deleting every account there is! Soon all the HQs won't even be existent! I tell you, if stuff like that happens, it's THE ENDof Toontown for me, and hundreds, nay THOUSANDS of toons. They'll soon get the message and revert back. |

Hello
I am French, and I confirm that we have big problems on the French site TT. I play on the TT fr since more of one, I had difficulty getting back my toons since the resumption by Disney but I finally succeeded at the end of 10 days. Phew ! I play on TT us also since May, 2006. Other problem than we have French for those who play in US, it is that when we go on the French site, it is very difficult to be able to return on the site us, it is always the French same page which displays. As a result, because ' there is no news in France and worse either whisper nor friends secret, I would return to it only when will have arranged. Good luck huns ! thanks to Mr Red Bull for pointing out that TTUK site has now a list of commong bugs for TTUK players on their page, here is a link:
http://www.disney.co.uk/toontown/knownissues.html under the title "Secret friends disappeared" you can find an info and who to contact for "lost sf" problem... ...though for me and my main sf - we settled the thing ourselves now through re-typing the sf codes again... some (I would not point with my fingure though) are still waiting for reply from Disney .. GL and courage! but "I wouldn't if I were you!"

Following the relaunch of the Toontown website, any users who launched
the game between 7pm on 12th December and 9am on 13th December may have lost their Secret Friends connections. Secret Friends of these players turned into Regular Friends. This was due to an incorrect setting on the website which has now been resolved. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to restore the "Secret" status of your previous Secret Friends. You will need to follow the normal steps of exchanging "secrets" to become Secret Friends with these Toons again. We regret the inconvenience caused and have added 7 days of free play to your account. If you intend to use the Free Chat / Secret Friends feature of the game, please make sure that the "Free Chat" checkbox is ticked under "My Toontown Preferences" in "My Account" on the website, before you launch the game. Note: you will need to be owner of the Disney Account and hold the master password to do this. You may enable or disable Secret Friends at any time. Once the Secret Friends feature has been enabled: 1. Log in to Toontown 2. To make a Secret Friend, click on the "Friends" button. 3. Click on the blue "Secrets" button in the top right corner. 4. Click on "Get a secret". 5. A Secret Code ("secret") will appear. The code is valid for 48 hours. 6. Give this "secret" to your friend offline. 7. Your friend will then need to enter this "secret" in the game so that you two become Secret Friends and .may chat openly with each other If a friend of you gives you a "secret" offline: 1. Log in to Toontown 2. Click on the "Friends" button. 3. Click on the blue "Secrets" button in the top right corner. 4. Enter the "secret" in the field and click "Enter secret" IMPORTANT: By playing Toontown you are bound by the Toontown Terms including the Members Agreement which outlines rules and policies for behaviour and chat. Inappropriate language, harassment or sharing of secrets with people you do not know are all regarded as a breach of the Members Agreement and may result in your account being suspended or terminated. You may review the Toontown Terms including the Members Agreement here: http://www.disney.co.uk/toontown/terms.html The My Account section is currently unavailable for users who subscribed to Toontown and paid with a Click&Buy account or who have any Click&Buy account registered as payment tool. that just reminds me a typical IT department LOL. Everything is running smoothly, no you have to do something so it doesnt work any more (no offence IT people lol). I checked, it seems that I am still friends with some UK players, it's been selective somehow. Rainbow and MR Red Bull, I'll come back with codes later on, if I play today... If it lets me, there is a problem no, so it seems.
oh, and I dont like a new home page, what was wrong with an old one? And why did I have to change to a new way of payment on half a year basis?????rats, rats, rats! |
