ToonTown Times Sept. 2007 Edition

The Toons of Toontown are really enjoying the brand-new Chip 'n Dale's MiniGolf, with 3 great courses to play and up to 30 trophies to earn. In addition to all of this minigolf fun, there is something else to aim for -- brand-new Top Toons categories! The Toon Council is adding 2 new categories to the daily Top Toons -- "Holes-in-One" and "Courses under Par"! Stay Tooned for these great new categories!

Check out our final Toon Testimonial video clip featuring Megan from Illinois. She loves beating that big bad Cog C.F.O.! A big thanks to all of the Toons who participated in our Toon Testimonials this year -- it's been Toontastic!

Dear Toontown,
I was wondering, how do you catch all 70 fish with your first fishing rod?
Elle

Dear Elle,
A Toon's first fishing rod -- the Twig -- is a great way to get your feet wet with the sport of fishing. However, this rod can only catch fish weighing up to 4 pounds. Many fish weigh more than this, so you will need a stronger rod to catch these larger species. Toons can purchase stronger fishing rods from Clarabelle's Cattlelog, starting with Bamboo, followed by Hardwood, Steel, and the strongest -- Gold. As you move up to stronger rods, you can catch more elusive fish, such as the Circus Clown Fish in Toontown Central or the Rock Star Fish in Minnie's Melodyland. But you will need the Gold Rod if you are angling for the biggest fish in the bunch -- the ultra-rare Grizzly Bear Acuda, found only on Walrus Way!

Your Friends at Toontown

Hmm. Looks like they tipped us off that it is found most commonly on Walrus way.
I doubt it is ONLY found there.

According to the The Fishing Guide (updated Aug. 26, 2005) that I created:

Grizzly Bear Acuda = 16-20 lbs. Walrus Way & TB ( ultra rare ) Steel Rod, 55-58 JB

which means it's easier to find on Walrus Way, but can be caught anywhere in TB.

Not really. Ever thought TT don't say BHQ on coming soon list, just remember BHQ is coming on test first, maybe will be on open in next month, seen like it. But it's just my guess.
