ToonTown Newsletter Nov. 2004

Here is the November Newsletter and cards, including the card of my toon and my group. Heh, they made my toon (left) look weird.

Also, two toons that deserve credit for helping us out is: Duck Woman (ie: duck man's wife) and missy mae duck (duck man's daugher "scary girl"). Also on behalf of duck man little lemonpop and me (sienna mouse), we would like to thank all the toons that let us take the buildings that our scouts had already found for us.

I think they went by if they were a Level 50Mr. Hollywood and if they caught all 70 fish. I'm sure they are aware of tornado, they just don't care about his having one more laff than normal.

Tornado's toon was task-bugged, so yes, his stats won't reflect a completed
L50 toon with 70 species...besides, he deleted all of his characters so I doubt
he would've been up for consideration anyway.

I gotta say, that was quite a surprise seeing my toon on the front page. It took
me 50 minutes to catch the 4 remaining species in the first day or two after the
update, and that was the most I played that toon in months, hehe ;)

I wonder if anyone caught the 70 before you did (that doesnt visit here) but wasnt a lvl 50 hollywood. I dont know about you but sometimes I prefer fishing over mindless factory runs any day lol.

A Better Pic, A better perspective.

The real winners of this contest is not those that appear upon the card, but the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation. It was our pleasure to be only three out of thousands of toons that participated in this charitable contest, and also it must be mentioned that those who came up with the idea, and donated the money to the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation are also and maybe more so the real hero’s of this event. Thanks Disney, keep up the good work. We look forward to participating in your upcoming charitable events.
