this was the letter emailed to everyone, but it was moved to this thread, about the one people got in their mailboxes

and, usually, the emailed one is put in the news articles. hence, why i posted it in the news articles

My email newsletter said this at the start:

"Dear Disney Guest,
Please remember to add Disney's Toontown.com (toontown@disneyonline.com)
to your address book to continue receiving our emails in your mailbox!"

What does that mean???

My Mood:
It most likely means that you have a spam filter set to high, and only people in your address book are allowed past your filter.

They likely got their newsletter back from your email address and thus sent you the email... of course how you got that is another question.

It's not like it matters when you get it!! Just think of how many THOUSANDS of newsletters they send out!! They can't send them out all at once, they have to do it in bunches so it doesn't clog the post office!! Quit being so negative!!! :p

Edit: Btw, if you got yours so long ago you should have posted the info for those of us who didn't have it yet! :flowers:

What does that mean???

That is to remind anyone with a spam filter to change their settings. After I upgraded to Eudora 6.0 for my mail reader, it can with a "Junk" mailbox and it automatically sends mail there. One month was so I simply told my program that this isn't junk, and it comes to my inbox now.

Your ISP may also be using a spam filter on their end. This is good and bad. Good because that spam doesn't hit your inbox so you don't have to deal with it. Bad because it never hits your inbox so you may not know when mail you want comes if the program tags it as spam.
