ToonTown Times April 2008 Edition

In our continuing effort to keep the Toontown community as friendly and as safe as possible, the Toon Council would like to remind you to always play safely. Toontown is a great place to meet new Toons, hang out with friends, all while pummeling some Cogs. A great way to ensure you are being safe while chatting is to never give out personal information -- such as your real name, address, state, school, phone number, e-mail, or account information -- even to your friends!

If you are unsure of a situation while playing, be sure to ask a parent for help, and always remember -- the Toon Council is here to help! So feel free to contact us for answers to any online safety questions. Be a Responsible Toon, always use good judgment -- and have a Toonastic time!

The Toon Council is pleased to share another "Toon Enough!" selection! Toontown super fan Vincent created a Big Cheese Cog in real life, and then defeated him! Click here to see a picture of Vincent and The Big Cheese.

Do you love Toontown so much that you bake real cream pies, or host Toontown-themed parties, maybe even paint portraits of your Doodle? If so, you may be "Toon Enough!" The Toon Council is sending out the call -- show us how "Toon Enough!" you are in your everyday life. Every month we will spotlight a Toontown fan who has brought the game from the computer into their real life. Click here for details on how to submit along with the official submission form. You may just see yourself in the next edition of The Toontown Times!

Dear Toontown,
In the loading screen, I saw something about a Cog tracker. How do I get one?
Steven

Dear Steven,
What you saw was a tip about the Cog Radar -- which is a valuable tool in any Toon's arsenal. But before you can use it, you have to earn access by defeating Cogs. To begin, open your Shticker Book and turn to the Cog Gallery page, which lists all of the Cogs you have defeated. The Toon Council assigns all new Toons a quota of Cogs they need to defeat, which is noted under each Cog type in your Cog Gallery. Once you have met each of your quotas, you will earn a reward -- Cog Radar. This gives you the ability to see what Cogs are on your street by clicking on each Cog logo. After you have earned Cog Radar, a new quota will appear. Once that second quota is filled, the ability to see what kind of buildings are on each street becomes available -- Building Radar.

Your Friends at Toontown

Errr The main atricale is about staying safe which (a guss is 50% of us know how to stay safe) Acrding to the poll on the website there 35% all maxed gags and 37% is no maxed gags. Now most 100 lafferes have 4-7 gags maxed usally.

For the CFOs there is no mistake. CFOs are very quick they are under a half hour total. 20 mins if it's a really good one. Think everyday for the CFOs on top toons its about 20. Multiply 20 by about 30(days) It is accually possible for a toon to do 600 cfos a month. But I don't know anyone who would lol

You know, I thought they'd add CEO to the list, considering it did come out and it is on top toons. But I guess since it only came out in the middle of the month and since BBHQ is new, it does make sense. On next month's newsletter we should have both CEO and the golfing stats. If not, then something is wrong.

And 227 CFO's is not weird. People who are maxed can easily get more than that. That's only 6,810 minutes @ 30 minutes each. You have 43, 200 minutes in a 30-day month, and at 5 hours a day spent on the CFO, you could probably get around 300 or more. But given BBHQ did come out, not sure who's spending all their time in there. Hopefully come this summer I'll easily be able to beat the CJ and VP times for this month. And that's maxing them too.
