What Is An Octacog?: This is a special type of Cog only found in The Chairman's Office. This is The Chairman's first-line of defense. Each Octacog cycle's through it's entire line. For example:
i) You Battle A Cold Caller - Level 1.
ii) You Defeat It.
iii) In It's Place Is The Second Cog In The Sellbot Line.
iv) You Battle A Telemarketer - Level 2.
v) Repeat This Process Until All 8 Cogs Have Been Defeated In The Line.
Level of an Octacog.
The Level Of The Second Cog Is Determined By The Level Of The Very First Cog.
a) So Suppose The First Cog Was A Flunky - Level 3.
b) So The Second Cog Would Be A Pencil Pusher - Level 4.
c) So The Third Cog Would Be A Yes Man - Level 5.
Difficulty:
The Flunky's Difficulty Was Level 3. Each Level Of Every Cog After It Is As Followed:
Previous Level Of First Cog (x) + 1 = Current Level Of Current Cog (y)
EX: Flunky Level 3 + 1 = Pencil Pusher Level 4.
Octacogs Don't Always Start Out At The Lowest Cog In The Line.
Some Can Start Out Anywhere In The Line.
How Does It Cycle Then?:
Easy.
It Goes To The Cog Right After It & Continues Until It Cycles Up To The Cog Right Before The First.
What About An Octacog V2.0?:
Follow The Same Rules Just Input It As A V2, So Add A Skelecog Between Each Cog. (What An Easy 16 Cogs!)
Do Octacogs Have All The Cogs Attacks In Their Line?:
No, Only The Cog They're Currently On's Attacks.
So If You Are On A Double Talker, You Can Only Be Attacked W/ Double Talker Attacks.
Why Do Octacogs Have Dark-Orange Uniforms?:
You'll Have To Ask The Chairman About That.
