Chairman Battle Idea

Chairman Battle Idea by Whiskerpounce the Fishertoon

Part One: The obligatory big cog fight... with a twist!

To visit the Chairman, you first must get a Boss Suit [Not Bossbot, but Boss Cog], and then obtain Permits [Boss merits] from all Cog types. After you have everything you need, go to the Gray House, a large, gear-shaped building in the center of Cog Nation. Get a group of 12 toons, and when the elevator’s timer goes to 0, the doors will close, and it’s time to fight the Chairman.

Since the building is so large, it will take a while for the elevator to reach the top. Once you do, though, the elevator doors will slide open, and the beginning cutscene will ensue. Since it’s mostly dialogue, I’ll show it to you in script.

[The toons, in their boss disguises, are still in the elevator for now. The Chairman, a black-suited cog with a tie and no type symbol, is sitting on a huge black leather chair in the center of the room, which is on a podium. Several random cogs of random types are sitting in chairs around the room, all facing the Chairman. The four cog bosses are surrounding him.]
Chairman: And so, with the increasing danger of the Toons…
Chairman: I decree that more than one of each boss be active at a time.
VP: WHAT!? That is inconceivable!
CFO: It would severely damage the economy!
Chief Justice: Is it even legal!?
CEO: Like I’ve said before, if I want a job done right, I’ll do it MYSELF.
Chairman: Enough! I’ve given my orders. Now report to your HQ’s, and have them carried out!
[The bosses dejectedly fly away. After one second, the elevator doors open. The Chairman’s chair turns to face them]
Chairman: Well, you certainly carried out my orders fast…
Chairman: Wait a second…
Chairman: You aren’t bosses! You’re toons!
[Your suits poof away, and the toons run onto the Chairman’s podium, surrounding him.]
Chairman: You toons certainly are brave to come here…
[The elevator doors close, and lock. The ramp on the Chairman’s podium retracts.]
Chairman: But it was a foolish move.
[Flippy appears out of a hole]
Flippy: Great! You made it!
Chairman: What!? You’re here!?
Chairman: Cogs, mobilize!
Flippy: Oh, no! He’s going to make all of those cogs attack you!
Flippy: Quick, I’ve loaded cannons with Pink Slips.
Flippy: Shoot as many cogs as you can before they can fight you!
Flippy: But since these pink slips are different, it takes two slips to take out a v2.0.
Flippy: I’ll distract the Chairman, but I can only do it for so long!

Okay, that’s enough script. 12 cannons, all loaded with 10 pink slips each, appear on the edge of the Chairman’s podium. There are 120 cogs, 40 of which are v2.0. All of the v2.0s have white suits to make them easier to spot. Since the toons only have 120 pink slips in total, and since the number of cogs including the v2.0s’ skelecogs is 160, you can’t kill all the cogs even if you never miss. But since it’s the only cog fight, that’s not much of a problem.

Anyway, run up to an unused cannon, and start shooting the Cogs with Pink Slips. Some cogs are flying around, and some are sitting in chairs. If you hit a v2.0, it will turn into a skelecog, and will fall to the ground if it was flying. If you hit a skelecog or normal cog, it will explode. Once the timer runs out, all of the remaining cogs will sit down, and another cutscene will ensue.

[Flippy is circling the chairman. He stops to throw a pie, but misses. The Chairman throws some gears at Flippy, who is sent flying off of the podium, making the Owooo sound on his way down.]
Flippy: I’ve done all I can.
Flippy: You’ll have to battle the remaining cogs.
Chairman: Cogs, you’ve wasted enough time. Attack!!

Now, you have to fight the remaining cogs. Like the 2nd CEO cog fight, the Cogs will fly out of their seats to you. Once you’ve destroyed all of the cogs, It’s time for the next part.

Part Two: Destroy the Chairman’s Chair

[The Chairman’s chair rises up, revealing an undercarriage like the one the Cog Bosses have. He jumps, destroying the Pink Slip cannons, and sending the toons off of the podium. Since it is a cutscene, though, the toons aren’t damaged.]
Chairman: I’ve had enough of this nonsense.
Chairman: I’m calling in security!
[Several goons fly in. They are all on the lower level with the chairs, not on the Chairman’s podium.]
Flippy: I’ve set up TNT scattered around the room.
Flippy: Pick one up, and throw it at the Chairman.
Flippy: Goons will try to steal it, so stun them to make them drop it!
Flippy: Don’t try to throw TNT at goons. They’ll just grab it!

The cutscene said how this part works, so there isn’t much to say. Basically, TNT will appear in random places. Grab it, and throw it at the Chairman’s chair. Goons will be wandering the bleachers. Get caught by one, and lose 20 laff. Goons will take TNT if they find it. Jump on them to take it back, but don’t throw it at them, or they’ll take it again. If you jump on a TNTless goon, it will drop a starfish.

The Chairman will be sitting in his chair, on the podium. He will perform a variety of attacks:
Jump: I’m 1000% sure you know how this works. Jump when he jumps, or lose 10 laff.
Gears: This one is also an old one. He will throw gears at a random toon for 15 laff.
Small Gears: AGAIN an old one. He will spin around, and tiny gears will hit the toons around him for 5 laff.
Undercarriage Gears: He shoots gears from his undercarriage. This doesn’t usually hit, but if it does, it hits for 15 laff.
Fire on one toon: This is a new one. He will say “You’re fired, [insert toon name here]!”, and launch a stream of fire in the direction of the toon. This will destroy any TNTs and Goons hit by the fire, but they will soon respawn in other places. Hits for -15.
Group fire: This is just like the CEO’s “fore” attack. The Chairman basically performs the normal fire attack on all toons at once. To notify toons about it, he says “YOU’RE FIRED!!”.

As you damage the Chairman’s chair, his chair’s treads will get redder and redder. When he’s 25% damaged, the ramp from the podium appears again, and the Chairman rolls down. He will move as to avoid TNTs laying on the ground, and Goons holding TNTs, but no regard for normal goons. He will flatten bleachers and toons that get in his path. Once his treads are as red as they can get, it’s time for a cutscene.

[Focus on the Chairman, like at the end of a CEO. All goons fly away.]
Chairman: Toons, what have you done!?
Chairman: My chair!!!!!
[He continues to say this last phrase, as his chair [not the undercarriage] spins around faster and faster. Soon, the Chairman will fly offscreen. A split second after that, the chair and undercarriage explode, sending various parts in random directions. Any bleachers or toons flattened decompress.]
[Closeup to the Chairman, now standing on the podium.]
Chairman: You toons will pay for that!
Flippy: Yes! You destroyed his chair!
Flippy: All that’s left is the Chairman himself!
[The Chairman walks off of his podium. The ramp retracts, and so do all of the bleachers.]
Chairman: It’s too bad you’re not getting any farther than this.
Flippy: Toons, the only way to beat the Chairman is with an old classic…
Flippy: Let the pie fly! [He does the resistance salute, and all the toons are given cream pies]

Part Three: Attack the Chairman!

Now, a health light appears on the Chairman’s suit. Whereas the CFO had 400 health, and the CEO 450, the Chairman has 500.

The Chairman has a large number of attacks –
Golf: The Chairman performs the “Tee Off” attack, but golf balls like the CEO’s are sent flying towards his targeted toon. They do 15 damage per hit.
Fire: [see part 2]
Group Fire: [see part 2]. Before he uses this, he will fly back to the podium. When he’s done using it, he will fly back to his original spot.
Tie Attack: The Chairman takes off his metal tie, and throws it at a toon. The tie hits for 20 laff, and it stabs into the floor/wall it hits, permanently. After the tie hits something, a new one reappears on the Chairman.
Shockwave: This looks like a jump attack, but it’s actually different. For each time he hits the ground, a shockwave appears along the ground. Jump over it or lose 10 laff. When he uses it, he says “This will be a shock to you.”
Gears: [see part 2}
Also, if you touch the Chairman, you will be thrown back, and you will lose 15 laff.

To hurt the Chairman, you have to throw the pies Flippy gave you. Hitting him in different places does different damage; the higher you hit, the more damage you do. Hitting his head does a lot, but hitting his feet doesn’t even hurt him – it just makes him fall over, only to get back up again.
Also, the pies Flippy gives aren’t infinite – you only receive 20. Flippy will be standing straight across the room from the elevator, so touch him to get more. Once the Chairman loses all of his health, the final cutscene starts…

Chairman: [shields himself from last pie] What!? No!
Chairman: How have I been beaten by TOONS!?
Chairman: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! [The Chairman starts exploding in the classic cog fashion. He stops on the part where he spins around, and stays that way throughout the dance]
[The toons dance]
Chairman: AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!! [He explodes, only to reveal a huge Skelecog with a black tie.]
Flippy: Owoooo! [does that thing that Tutorial Tom does, with the big eyes and pointing]
Chairman: [The elevator opens, and he runs in] This isn’t over!
[Flippy tries to follow him, but the Chairman stops him with a golf attack. The door closes.]

Part Four: Your reward

Normally, for your reward, you get a gag training frame for your 7th gag track. If so, Flippy will say these things:

Flippy: Amazing! You took the Chairman out of commission!
Flippy: For something as amazing as that…
Flippy: …I’ll give you a gag training frame for your [insert track you don’t have here] track!
Flippy: See ya!
[The toons leave]

But, if you already have all tracks, he will say this instead:

Flippy: Amazing! You took the Chairman out of commission!
Flippy: I’d award you with a gag training frame, so you could have all tracks…
Flippy: But you already have all of them!
Flippy: Here, take this instead.
Flippy: It’s a Pink Slip v2.0, something I made in my spare time.
Flippy: It can fire four cogs at once, even v2.0s!
Flippy: See ya!

Yes, I know the reward is stupid, but 1: I'm bad at coming up with rewards, and 2: This is a BATTLE idea. Review it instead, since it's the main subject of the topic.

I love the idea alot...but The Chairmen is something no one know if real. Like when The Hunt of Bossbot HQ came out we knew for sure that is will come out eventually. But The Chairmen is something not known for sure. Other than that I LOVE it!

The idea sounds perfect but I hope disney could add a good reward. Getting level 7 gags are easy to do now that BBHQ is out and i'd like to see toons getting all seven gag tracks.
Nice ideas!
I'd like to see in the future if a toon maxxes everything that you get a toontask to get the last gag track. I mean if your maxxed you could have it to do a lot of things.

How do you get those suits?
Maybe you need to be HW, RB, BW or BC 50 and defeat the VP, CFO, CJ or CEO 25 more times. Hmm?

About the reward:Not bad, but I'm bored of pink slips. They r too easy(except if you want to do a solo).

The only thing I don't like is the reward.

Do you know how boring it would be to have everyone with the same gag track?
And there is already pink slips, what I would like to do is control a cog.( like you get to move it and you pick the cog attacks it does and when toons defeat it you will turn back into a toon(you jumped in the cogs body) )

Otherwise, good idea!

Chairman Idea by The Minigolf Master

To visit the chairman, you will need a Cog Suit, and by that I mean a 19 piece Suit which will start at Cold Caller level 1 and will advance to The Big Cheese level 50. Each time you beat The Chairman at level 49, you get a laff point, except for The Big Cheese. If you battle The Chairman as BC49, you get 2 laff points. Tasks will be from Flippy, for he’s the closest shopkeeper to the HQ, Cog HQ located at the end of a new path between the Speedway Races and the Urban Races. The Chairman Building will be in the Center of Cog HQ called “The Development Building”. There are 5 sections: A factory section, a Development Building Lobby, a v2.0 section, a v3.0 section, and the Playground. I won’t mention the tasks since I’m really lazy right now. I will mention the Dialogue of The Chairman Battle, since I already had typed it.

Toons: *enter The Development Building*
Flippy Mover & Shaker level 9: We need to get you’re promotions from the Super Private Office of The Chairman.
Mata Hairy Loan Shark level 11: Meanwhile, you need to fight these Cogs.
Bumpy Bumblebehr Bigwig level 12: They range from 5-14 in level and all are v2.0.
Good ol’ Gil Giggles Head Hunter level 10: By the time you’re done, we should have all of your promotions.
Toons: *battles cogs*
Flippy Mover & Shaker level 9: Good job! Those looked tough!
Mata Hairy Loan Shark level 11: Now take these promotions.
The Chairman: Hey! You’re toons! *blows all suits off*
Flippy: Oh no!!!
Mata Hairy: It’s The Chairman!!!
Bumpy Bumblebehr: Now, you need to magnetize the cog food the cogs are firing onto the toons table.
Good ol’ Gil Giggles: The more food the toons have, the easier the Chairman battle is.
Toons: *does 2nd round*
Bumpy Bumblebehr: Cool! You have 1-9 plates on the table! The bosses only need 4500-1000 HP until they’re stunned for 7-9 minutes!

Key:

9: 1000
8: 1250
7: 1500
6: 2000
5: 2500
4: 3000
3: 3500
2: 4000
1: 4500

OR

Bumpy Bumblebehr: Oh no, you didn’t get any plates on the Toon Table. The bosses need 5000 HP until they’re stunned for 7-9 minutes.

OR

Bumpy Bumblebehr: Wonderful!!! You have all 10 plates you need on the Toon Table!!! The bosses only need 750 HP until they are stunned for 7-9 minutes!!
Flippy: OK. The Chairman has created 2 new types of Cogs:
Mata Hairy: Extracogs and v3.0 cogs! The Extracogs are each Cog one level higher then their max level. For example: Corporate Raider level 12.
Bumpy Bumblebehr: V3.0 cogs will turn into v2.0 cogs when they explode.
Good ol’ Gil Giggles: Fight!
Toons: *battles cogs*
Flippy: Good. Now all the bosses are here. You need to get their HP down to 0.
Mata Hairy: They start at 5000-750. When a boss is stunned, that is your chance to pelt him with the Gags you get from the Table of Toons.
Bumpy Bumblebehr: The level 1 gags do 3 damage, the level 2 gags do 5 damage, the level 3 gags do 6 damage, the level 4 gags do 9 damage, the level 5 gags do 10 damage, the level 6 gags do 14 damage and the level 7 gags do 30 damage.
Good ol’ Gil Giggles: You can’t just pick the gags you want! We will randomly give you any gag except Trap or Lure gags. Fight!
Toons: *fights The Chairman*
Flippy: Congratulations!
Mata Hairy: For defeating the Chairman, you get a Mega-Pie.
Bumpy Bumblebehr: The Mega-Pie will wipe out all cogs in your current battle.
Good ol’ Gil Giggles: Use it wisely because you only get one! You can use it via a “Pie” button above the “SOS”, “Fire”, “Run” and “Pass” buttons.
