Why are you trying to do toontown france if you don't understand french? I'm a little confused. :P

All the phrases and everything are in french, you won't understand it.

I suspect they just want to get a free trial on TT France, having used up their free trial on the other Toontowns

What kind of question is that?

If you don't speak the language, don't play the game. Simple.

I would have to guess he's the type of mod that's wondering why someone who doesn't speak french is trying to play toontown france.

I have to admit that I'm curious to see these other tt's. Some time I would like to try it and I already pay for 2 accounts lol. Though my vocabulary is limited to maybe 30 words in french, and spanish, 2 or 3 in German and forget Japanese. I have played toontown enough that I could prob figure out what i'm doing. Dont you rent foreign movies even though you dont speak the language? I know theres subtitles to help you understand but still! Besides when you are surrounded by a language you do start to learn. How many people from other countries have learned english from watching our shows, and movies. You would be surprised I bet!!!

Right on! I'm going to learn French in Middle School next year. We're not breaking the law trying to learn another language you know. Plus it's fun to translate this stuff!

I haven't tried the trial yet for Toontown France, but from what I've gathered of the screencaps, the language isn't really "French" anyway. What I mean by that is that there are a lot of made up words that don't really exist in the French language by translation standards: Laff, shticker book, cogs, gags, etcetera.

I can guarantee that in my profession as a French teacher I've never once seen those words-nor do I know how to say them... so they won't help much in your learning of French The other speedchat phrases may work however I'm sure they have some interesting stuff!

I agree that it might be fun though.

HOWEVER...

I don't think anyone accused anyone of breaking the law.

You can start with basics, check out "How to learn french" for begineers, learn simple words first because I'm learning french on my own right now until high school, maybe hoping 8th grade has french class. Here are some basics:
Hello:Bonjour (Note:J in french are prounounced S as in Treasure)
Bye:Au Revior
Is:est
and:et
French:Francais
need:le besoin
of:de
of a:de a
How are you:Comment allez-vous ?
