Accept international

Hi, I used to have membership and got my toon all the way to 100 laff points, back in 2003. Now I was trying to sign up again and currently they are only aceepting US/Canadian signup's.

Back in 2002 I just called customer service and signed up through phone. Tried that again now and today it's different. Not accepting international countries :/

Is there anyway or any update on the way for small countries out there ?

Depending on which country you live in, there are some other servers for different countries. The links for these Toontown servers can be found inside the Internation Toontown forums, linked below.

There really isnt much you can do..
Did you suggest it to them by their website or by calling them?

Also try looking through their FAQS
Because they do accept some countries.

Some Countries on tt have different websites.
So maybe google Iceland toontown.
If it doesnt show up

Toons Since 2003 @ my old account. If I login to that account I see nothing.

It's either maybe because I'm not a member and can't see them.

Well, if your toon(s) were on the far left or far right squares you won't be able to see them. Otherwise...

I do know that Toontown erases the old toons off every 3 years or so to free up sever space, so it may happen. Otherwise, I don't know if they can transfer toons from server to server or not. I don't know what category Iceland would fall in, if any.

Try calling Toontown and ask a few questions/e-mail them. Hopefully they can connect you with someone who knows what they are talking about, other than a Customer Service represenative.

I live in Denmark. The only way you can get an account is to put in a US address and a US credit card.

This is stupid..... I mean for crying out loud it's 2008 and they don't support international signups....

Have you tried singing up through UK toontown website?

You may even be able to transfer the old toon(s) if they still exist, if you can signup for UK, and then explain your problem they should be able to transfer as they be on same servers.

As far checking to see if toons still exist on your old account, if you can login as free, make a new free toon in middle squares, then go to estate and check the houses, if your toons are still there I would assume their names will be on the houses.

I tried it just now and when I walked around my garden I did see my other toon's houses marked with their names. Does that mean they still exist?

Yes, I could try signup using toontown @ UK and then what? Ask them to move the toons to US server and play on US server while being charged for UK account? Is that what you mean ?

Again...this is great news if my toons still exist out there

I just sent this to UK's Toontown customer support:

"Hi,

First of all I'm not new to toontown. I used to have US account and my toons should still be there. As of now www.toontown.com is not accepting international countries.

My old account is: "xxxxxxx" - I have two toons there, one is Faithful and the other is Diddy.

First question: Do my toons still exist ?
I tried logging into my old account unsigned and created a toon from the middle square. Then I started playing and after the tutorial I tried, "Go Home" and visit my estate and check the houses there. I did see both Faithful's and Diddy's houses. Does that mean my toons still exist ?

Second question: If they do exist, is there any chance that you could offer a toon transfer and move my account or just my toons to my newly setup account @ UK toontown region.

Bottom line: I really want to play Toontown online, either US or UK account with my old toons.

That will do, for now."

As far as I'm aware, we all play on the same server.

I'm in the UK and on my old toon I had friends in the US and Australia.

When you say, "when I walked around my garden I did see my other toon's houses marked with their names", you were at your estate right?
If so, did the toons not show up on the screen where you select which toon you want to play?

Did you make a new toon?

No toons showed up when i can chose a toon. So I made one, from the middle square. And did the above.

I was wondering, if I could sign into game as a subscribing member, if my old toons would show up at the pick a toon screen. Since I can already see them at my estate when I'm logged in with no subscribed membership.

Problem is, I can't test that because US are not accepting international subscriptions.

I cant understand how that's possible for you to see their names on the houses if it's a totally different account.

There's something not right with the information your giving us here!

If your logging in with different details and you made new toons and there are no other toons on the pick a toon screen, then it's virtually impossible to see your old toons names on the houses.
That's my opinion anyway.

I think what she's trying to say is that she tried to turn her currently free membership into a subscribing one.
