I hate the fact that in order for my husband and I to play TT together we have to get two separate accounts. Anyone know if they are even considering making it possible to play multiple toons off of the same account?

I doubt it, as many people have 2 accounts since you can't do 2 toons at same time on one. They would lose buisness, and it makes since for them toi keep it as it is. Sorry, I wish for it too, but Disney probably won't.

It is possible to do it. But it's against disney's rules.

I'd love for it to be that way (and I'd love even more if you were allowed to open two toontowns on one comp, why you cant is beyond me) but they'd loose money considering all the 2ed accounts would probably cancelled if it ever was changed.

This would never (and should never) happen. The reason is that with six character slots available, you could give "free" accounts to your friends and all play together.

Every other MMO I can think of allows multiple character slots, but only one character per account can be played at any given time.

We have three accounts, as a matter of fact.

I called to deal with an unrelated issue of moving a couple of toons from one account into each of the others, and did chance to ask about what you've mentioned, here.

As I had mentioned in another thread, I have never felt that Disney would violate best practices in login management by allowing multiple logins from the same account; mainly because this would result in account sharing between non-adult friends, instead of limiting account usage to the same family from the same IP address.

That essential conclusion was confirmed for me, today--with the addition of several forms of superlative--by Disney billing and tech support donzels.

It is inconvenient, but logical nonetheless.

I'd like to know how it's possible, but discount the assertion from first-hand experience. We've simulated plenty of attempts (via disco recoveries and other means) at multiple, same account logins; and, all attempts at same account login merely resulted in the connected toon being discoed once the launcher authorizes from another computer.

Not possible.

I'd love to see credible proof to the contrary.

You CAN run two accounts on same PC. All you need to do is end the process (using ctrl+alt+dlte) of the ToontownLauncher.exe and then open toontown again Theres a thread on here somewhere on how to do it

Not sure if you knew this, but you can transfer any toon to another account-that way play your toons together. Thats the only way for now.

Me and my brother share an account we would both like to play together or at least at th same time. So if i bought another account i could transfer my toon to it and he would keep all stats and what not? would his trees stay fully grown?
