Tips for Mailers and Toontown Customer Service
Have you ever e-mailed Toontown, just to find that they send a lousy one back? Are you a full member but haven't recieved your mailer yet? Here's some info about all of that.
Customer Service Many people claim that Toontown's (or rather Disney's) Customer Service is lame and unprofessional. The truth is, Disney is very busy and doesn't always have time to reply thoughtfully to your e-mail. Don't have a cow on them, wait for 1-1 and a half weeks before re-sending another e-mail. If you send a letter about a mischievious toon, you'll get a letter similar to this one: Quote:
Keep in mind, Disney is not always quick to reply so it could be a while before they do. Customer Service is for you to belt out your problems and concerns about Toontown. It's not to bug them about being a developer or asking them what they're going to add next. If you bug them, they'll become angry at you and you won't be in the "Good" books with them. If they don't reply, try going to Toontown Live Chat. They're open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific Time. It's a good way to directly talk with a techinician and get your problem specifically answered. If you get your account suspended, they'll send you an e-mail to notify you of how long it's for. When that amount of time has passed, you have to call them at their number and confirm. Mailers A lot of people have complained about being signed up for two years to Toontown and haven't even gotten their Welcome Pack yet. Here's info on how to fix that. If you've signed up to Toontown, via online, you are eligible to recieve a Welcome Pack and a Bi-Monthly newsletter that is sent to your home, plus an e-mail newsletter. If you've been waiting just about forever for your's to come, try these things:
If you e-mail them, try being polite to them. You can come across as a bit annoyed but not too much because they won't get the right idea from you. Here's a good example of a letter to send: Quote:
That's it! Note: If you want to call Toontown, here's their number. Hope this helps! ~o~Cuddles~o~ |

I'd like to know if anybody gets the welcome kit without begging for it multiple times over several months. I've had 2 accounts for over 4 months and haven't gotten the welcome kits, even after email exchanges where I was assured it was going to be sent.

The key is not to beg. You have to ask politely for them to reinstate your mailer. I sent one e-mail about it and they sent one back asking for info, I, in turn, sent it to them and they assured me it was coming. How long have you waited for the mailer? When did they send you an e-mail stating that you were to get your mailer? All this info needs to be considered.
