You can try and call Disney at 1-888-332-1626. They might be able to do something for you, but otherwise I don't know another solution.

That doesn't make sense. You're not a trial member.. your a paying member. You bought the gamecard and used that to subscribe in stead of giving disney your credit card number. As far as I know a gamecard is also a legit way of being a "toontown citizen" so you should have all the access and privileges of people who pay with credit cards.... I've never payed with a gamecard so clearly I could be dead wrong. But logically, if you spent money on the card that should count as a membership. So if your a kid are you sure your parents didn't just set the parent pass and you don't know it?

Well, just ask your parents to enter their credit (or debit) card number. It won't cost anything. Not sure why they need it, but i guarantee it won't cost anything since you already bought the pass.

I have the same problem- it's so annoying. I'm 20 so obviously I should be able to set my own parent password. I paid with a game card from Target because I don't have a credit card, and there is no way to set the password without a credit card. So I can't have any sf's even though I'm an adult and paid for the game.

I think the easiest way for Disney to identify anyone as over the age of 18 is with a credit card number. You have to be of legal age to get one or to open up a checking account. If you have a checking account that could be another way to fix the problem. Debit cards work just the same as credit cards, so you could try using that. Have you tried calling Disney and explaining your situation?

Ouch sorry, That really stinks. If you payed for the card you should have all member benefits but I guess not. And I know some people like to buy the game cards b/c they don't want to enter their credit card info online. It SHOULD be an equal alternative but I guess not.

I found this that might be helpful:

If you have a U.S. credit card, you can validate your account from the Toontown.com website by choosing "Member Services" then "Mail Options" from the left side menu. This will prompt you to update your subscription. There is no charge to your card for this purpose, other than a $1.00 authorization that would fall off of the card's statement after a few days.

I do have a debit card but I don't want to use it online. I want to get a credit card for my 21st birthday in a couple of months, and I'll probably use that for Toontown if I get one. I haven't called Disney; not being able to have sf's is annoying, but not quite annoying enough yet for me to contact Disney.

Well that sounds like a great idea!! Paying for TT is a great way to start building your credit.

My parents have a thing about credit cards. Even if it won't cost anything, they don't want the credit card number getting out and other sites taking it. It's a thing my parents have so there isn't any other way?
