Does Toontown work on Vista?

If it does, do you have to do anything different than playing it on Windows XP?

It's just because I told my friend about Toontown and he tried it, but he has Vista and it didn't work.

Yes, TT is compatible for Vista. If you own a Vista computer, it should download that automatically. As for working the Vista launcher on XP, you need to find the link in the playground forum to install it. The Vista launcher should not work any differently than XP, as far as I know.

Yes, it works on Vista just fine. I've been using Vista for over a year. Used to have to drop all security to get on but now they have a way to do it so u dont, I think now all u do is install the game and allow activex. I still have xp on another computer and I think the vista runs faster. No lag, at least for me. Hope this helps. I'm sure that u can get techier answers from our computer savy players.

lucky!!;USA users get the vista launcher;UK users have to go through all sorts of processes to install TT!!

It works fine with Vista.

If you mess with the security settings then you can download it using the "Web Launcher" or you can just leave most of the security stuff on and download the "Vista Launcher"

I prefer running Toontown on Vista than on XP.

We have three computers here that we use for Toontown, and two of the computers are running Vista. The Vista computers install Toontown a bit differently, and you get an application launcher right on the desktop. It just saves clicking over to the website and logging in.

I agree with another poster that it does seem to run even better than it did in XP. If my third computer had enough memory to support Vista, I would have upgraded that one as well.

I have vista and it works fine (actually better!). TT froze up all 3 of my xp computers but has never done that once on Vista. Its much faster too.
