Anyone seen this?

I am a new subscriber so I dont know if this is a new thing or not. I was looking around at all of the different areas and I think I was in the brrgh (can't remember what street) when I saw 2 toons that were white like snowmen. Their clothes were white as well. Looked really cool.

Does anyone know how they did this? Is this something that can be purchased in the cattlelog?

You can get it as a Toontask reward when you get to the Brrgh Tasks. But you can also use this method

Go to Polar Place
Find "Hibernation Vacation"
Go inside
say "Howdy!"
(This will only last one hour so when it disappeares you can go back and say Howdy again.)

the "Howdy" thing works in the burrgh and it lasts i believe untill you log out or leave the burrgh

There was a question about this in the IRC. I think it lasts for two hours, but we came up with the point that I am clueless.

Actually, me and my friend did the "Howdy" thing and, about after an hour, had went into a building and while fighting the cogs we turned back to our same size and color. So I don't think it lasts until you log out. But, when you do log out it resets.

You can also get this status by doing a Toontask that has "No color" for a reward. I believe it lasts for 30 days. Anything that alters your visual status (i.e., invisible, small toon, big legs, etc.) will cancel it, and that includes going to Hibernation Vacation and saying "Howdy!", which will replace the 30 day effect with the temporary one, which can be removed by logging off.

That is only if you are done with tasks.

Yeah, but you can still get the fun tasks before, they just don't last as long.

So getting the howdy while in the 30 days deletes it? Wow, never knew that. Good to know.

The task lasts for 30 days. When you say howdy, it lasts for 30 minutes. If you leave TB it will be gone, if you go to MML, then to TB within the 30 minutes. It will still be there.
