Setting Parent Password?

Hello fellow TT players!

I did see this topic once before and it didn't help at all, and I'm not aware of any others.

How do you set your parent password? It says I set it when I signed up for the game, but I didn't see any form that lets you set it. When I press the button to set my parent password, it tells me to log in and then gets mad at me for not being 18. My parents don't have a Disney account and I really don't expect them to ever get one. I also can't sign up for the Test server waiting list because I 'didn't sign in with the parent password.'

Can any of you guys please help?

And yes, I am subscribed, and if it makes a difference I bought a Game Card at Target to subscribe.

Yeah, unless you try the game first, and then subscribe to it by a conventional credit card, it won't set a Parent Password. I believe you'll need to call Toontown (1-888-332-1626) or talk to them on Live Chat. (Toontown Live Chat is available from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and from 3:00 PM to 6:45 PM -- Pacific Time -- Monday through Friday.)

Alright, I'll try that on Monday. They should make an easier way to set the Parent Password.

This happened to me as well. Don't type in anything and just push ok. I hope this helps!

I got onto Live Chat and asked the question. To quote the person I was talking to,

"We're required to verify age using a credit card by the Children Online Privacy Protection Act."

I asked if there was any way to get around it, and he said there wasn't.

That's still pretty unfair. At Target we even purchased it with a credit card (we didn't purchase it online with a credit card because my mom hates taking all that trouble). I guess I still will never have 'Unlimited Access.'
