Alt-F4'ed from simple building and lost all gags. Cmon, really?

I am well aware that if you Alt-F4 from a boss battle that you go sad and lose all your gags, including all level 7s.

I didn't know, however, that this rule applied to Alt-F4'ing out of buildings as well. I was trying to finish up the last 90 stock options of , so I went to MML and went solo into a 4 story BB building. I had tp'd to a friend into River, so an invasion started right as I went into the elevator to the second floor. Instead of fighting the 2nd floor cogs, I figured that I could Alt F4, solo another 4 story in a quiet district, and TP back to my friend in River. But when I sign back on, my toon's head is hanging down, and I lost ALL my level 7s.

Wow. I was a little bit upset. I lost all my level 7 gags for no reason.

I guess the reason TT implemented this system of going sad is to prevent people from rudely Alt-F4'ing out of a situation. But right now, I'm a little agitated that it applies to simple buildings.

Alt + F4'ing is like losing to cogs in a battle. You go back to the PG, and lose all of your gags and laff. If you leave the building (Alt + F4'ing, too) once you defeat the cogs on that floor, I don't think you should go sad. Were you on a floor that still had cogs on it when you Alt + F4'ed?

I understand how you feel. The reason they do that is because they think you want to get out of the building so you don't die. When I found this out I was pretty upset too. If your battling the CFO and your at the part where you try to get the CFO guy you may do that without losing all your gags.

It applies to any Cog Battle. You can Alt-F4 out of a street battle in TTC and die.

Well, that stinks. But at least Level 7 gags can be gained quickly enough. Now you know!

Lol I know how it works I'm not new here. What I was saying is that I didn't know this "rule" applied to buildings. I thought it was only for boss battles.

I just got out of the elevator to the second floor, so yes, there were cogs. I know this is the reason I went sad. I was simply venting a bit about how it is stupid that I lost all my level 7s from alt-f4'ing from a simple building.

As far as I've seen you always lose all your gags and wind up sad in the playground if you alt out while your in the middle of a battle. So that would make sense that you lost all your gags since you didn't wait til you had killed the cogs on that floor. Like I know that you can alt out of a CEO or CFO etc etc if your actually in the part where you are fighting the boss and you won't lose all your gags. If you alt out while you are in the cog battle you will.

I know this b/c unfortunately I've had to alt out.. well for me I just click the x button on top the screen.. but same thiing.. out of a CEO and a VP once each b/c there just wasn't any way we were going to win and I was down to like 2 laff with no hope of redemption and the rest of the team was doing horribly also..I'm not proud of it.. but I am glad I saved my lvl 7s.

bearing in mind that i cant always go on, i have strict rules about going on the computer, and that i cant go on on tuesdays and that i am sharing with 3 other people and i didnt go on in the summer holidays:

i have 58 laff
i have 3rd trap
i have 5th sound
i have 5th throw
i have 5th squirt
i have 4th drop

i have been on nearly a year now, is this bad for my timing?
level 7 gags, huh!

I think that Loopy Scooter Gigglewig means that it's fairly easy to get 500 experience points to get the Level 7 gags. Maybe I'm wrong?
