What happens to your existing toon on Upgrade and Expiration?

1) What happens to your existing Toon when you upgrade from a free account?

2) After you upgrade and later let your account expire can you use that toon again on free account or will it be locked?

1. You're existing toon stays. It's just like it was before, except on a subscribed account.
2. You can use your two middle toons. The toons at either side will be unusable until to pay again. It looks as though they've disappeared, but you have nothign to worry about because they're just inactive.

On question two, you can still use it like a free account. Just TTC and all those annoying restrictions.
