ATTENTION TEST Toons: Some of your Toons may be temporarily inaccessible, but don't panic!

We are testing some new Toontown Trial account features and some Toontown Test accounts have been temporarily set to a special Trial account status -- If you've had Toons in both the top and bottom-middle slots, then you will have access to both (the middle column) during these tests. If you did not have a Toon in the bottom-middle slot then you will only have access to the top-middle one (1) Toon during these tests.

PLEASE NOTE: The five (5) remaining Toon slots of these accounts will be unaffected and temporarily unavailable during these tests. After a period of time accounts that have been set to the special Trial status will revert to normal and all your Toons will be accessible once more. During this test period all Toons will take turns having their account set to this new Trial status, so don't be surprised if it's your turn!

If your account is in this special Trial one (1) Toon status, you will have:
Access to Toontown Central.
Access only to Toontown Central ToonTasks.
Limited Goofy Speedway access.
Access to your Estate.
Limited Access to the other Neighborhoods and Cog HQs (you can only participate in street battles).
Test accounts that are in this Trial one (1) Toon status will only remain this way for a short period of time, so please jump right in and play thru all aspects of Toontown. Also, if your account has been made into a Test Trial account and you have an open top-middle slot, please create and play a new Toon.

Be sure to report any issues you encounter via our Report a Problem page! The Toon Council thanks you for your assistance!

Bug fixes in this release
Fixed bug which caused Toon names in new fonts to not be seen by other Toons.
Fixed bug that caused Toon names to be missing information while in Cog Suit disguise.
Fixed missing texture on Seltzer Bottle gag during battles.
Fixed rare AI crash which could occur when you teleport to your Estate.
Fixed a crash when going from one country club floor to the next.

Has any one else been hijacked into trial mode the entire time?

Boo Boo misses all her sf's! But she is not in a center slot, and so can not come out to play.

I think we are all "testing" the trial... but I think they change your account from trial to regular on the hour. I was on trial at 9:45, logged off and was off at 10:00 . Also, once you are logged on, you don't revert to the trial version until you log off. I don't have any empty spots on either of my accounts, so I can't make a new toon, but have been trying to "test" the rest of the game for new bugs. The update this morning did fix a few bugs that occured with the release of the new test version... I got my doodle back, and they centered the new fonts. Happy testing all!!

I have logged on and off several times in the last couple of hours. Did the same yesterday and Saturday. I am ALWAYS in the trial mode. Have not seen my 4 side toons in 3 days. ;-(

In the mean time, I am playing my 50+ laff purple mouse named Lily Pedalseed. If you see me, say hi! lol

I'm with skip mine keeps changing every hour so I keep checking. A couple of my friends are stuck in trial mode all the time. I don't know if it's suppose to be like this or if they going to take turns doing that so far after an hour is up I can go back to normal once I log out. I also have a couple of friends who are stuck in trial mode that can still whisper to me. I don't know how they do that I tried and can't do it lol.

Why would they release something new that you need to have member privileges to test, then start testing trial accounts?...Nice one Disney.

My complaint isn't that they are testing the trial version on test. That is what test is for obviously. My complaint was that some of us have been stuck in trial mode for several days without a break, while others are switching back and forth between trial mode and regular test mode.

Are those of us who are stuck in trial mode all on Vista? Yes? No? Are we not supposed to be staying in trial mode and it needs to be reported to Disney? Thats the real question here.

Yes, it seems like we are all on Vista. There is a similar thread to this one which mentions that. Bug report time.

Nope........ my one is not on Vista and it is stuck in trail mode.

I have only one test account. I try several times a day on Vista, not once have I been able to get on. On XP I have both trial periods and full access. I go to XP get on with full access, go to the other computer on vista and I am limited to trial mode. I've done that several times because I prefer my laptop using Vista.

1 i log in through the web browser and am in full mode

acct 2, i logged in 10 seconds ago and was still on Trial mode

I was able to try that last night and it was just how you said it was. On XP, I had full access. I logged into VISTA, was on trial. Logged in on XP again - full access. All of that in about a period of 3 minutes. Everytime that I exit from VISTA, I get the message: Closed with code [104]. That doesn't come up at all on XP. I sent another bug report. I hope you did, too.
