I understand... But...

Skip,
I understand you wanting to close the other thread(s) down, seeing where it was going and all the drama... However, I think others points of view should be able to be heard. I was not involved in this run, but would like to make an open post as to how I feel about TEST and when these drama things come up. I am just cut and pasting what I put on another website, in response to the conversation being brought over there, from here. I hope you would let it go through, but understand if you delete it as a mod decision, and just want to say, "love all ya TESTERS and am glad we have the TEST Community."

As posted on Other Site:
Joyce, (Silly Bubbles), thank you for posting the voice of reason.

I do not know what happened during that run, except for what I have read... Actually, as that battle took place, we were in the playground, staring at our toes. (Note to self: need to polish nails). I know some of us were asked to go on that run, and actually, I am feeling a bit guilty now, for having said no... Feeling like this drama would have been avoided if I and one more would have gone... Probably would have all DIED, (considering my recent history in battles, lol), but atleast no drama.

I have never, (willingly), been involved in any TT drama, and even when others tell me of drama with past toons/people, I do not judge others for it, unless I was there first hand... And in all that time, there is only 1 person that I do not like, and that is because it was made personal against, what I felt, was me, my family and my country... Which has nothing to do with TT. I like who I like, period. This is not Junior High. I refuse to pick a "clique". I have refused to be a "clique person" all my life and will not change. I just really hate drama and people being mean to eachother... PERIOD.

I am an "okay" player in TT, but I am constantly making "oopses." Whether it be because the phone is ringing, a neighborhood kid at the door hurt, one of my 5 kids distracting me or just a brain-fart.... Good grief, SF's psssst'ing me is enough to throw me off on a gag choice. This is why, personally, I play late at night a lot... Less distractions and not wanting to upset others.

But then I see posts being made over a single run, pointing fingers and so angry, from both sides of the story, and I think, "YIKES! When am I gonna be written about on a forum?" It just makes me feel so uneasy in what is supposed to be FUN and a kids game, which I believe more adults play, BTW.

If there is a bad run and the 8 or less ppl feel it needs to be discussed, shouldn't it be done in PM's and not drug out for the entire TEST community? Making ppl feel like they need to get involved and take sides? Most ppls screen names on these forums aren't what their toons are, so I am clueless, like usual, to who was all involvled. Clueless, sometimes, is good. It just makes me feel sad when a small, close-knit community like on TT TEST, gets their panties in a bunch and feel the need to air it for all to see and to take sides.

I, personally, am quite thankful for the friends, and even ppl I am not sure who they are behind the toons, that have gone sad with me in 3 battles in the last 3 days, have not blamed me... Although I am feeling a bit like a jinx these days, lol.

I enjoy you all on TEST and just hope that it will be put in the past and move on. Love ya all and will help anybody at anytime... Just ask... I am very agressive in RL, but in TT, I usually follow the lead.

RIGHT ON JOYCE!!! I totally agree.....I have always thought of test just like a small town city of very nice people playing together.....everyone pretty much knows everyone...and pulling together and having fun. There are reasons in life why things happen while we are in battles and others will sacrifice themselves to help others...........
WHY CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG

STOP POKING AT EACHOTHER AND JUST PLAY

The point here was quite simple. It wasn't about bad gag choices or lag or anything we all experience all the time. It wasn't about agreeing on a strategy for CEO. In test we do try to help each other and to be slapped in the face for that effort is something that needed to be brought to attention. It was about two people trying to help a team and receiving nothing for their efforts but grief. And then the following justifications and denial for the poor behavior, stinking and harassment. Really very simple. We all act inappropraitely at times. When that happens, usually a simple "I did it and I am sorry" will suffice. But some people live by a different code of ethics. It is called hypocrisy and perhaps they have worn it so well for so long that they no longer know how to function without it? In order to solve a problem, it must be addressed. To simply ignore it, only allows for justification and the problem to grow.

Well, I WAS there - running LVTPs toon as well as my own.

Personally, I was floored at the bashing that we took at the dance. Since the toons we were on that did participate in seltzer were treated nicely, and I'm sure we didn't behave differently on the 2 toons during any other part of the battle, I'm sure it was because we hugged the wall during the seltzer. If we'd been parked in the corner eating snacks I might have understood . . . but a toon hugging the wall is clearly either someone running 2 toons or someone called away by RL that expects to be back soon.

We finally had 6 toons there and the others seemed willing to go with the 6, so my friend and I both logged in an extra toon to HELP with the cogs. We would have preferred to only run 1 toon each, when others showed up we tried to step our 2nds out, but someone was "Helping a friend" and didn't want to go with us at all. When a 7th player entered the lobby as the clock was ticking down, my friend waited until the clock was at 1 before jumping on to allow that toon to get on rather than him running 2.

We gave it our all in the cogs, used our 7s, heck - I even figured out how to feed the cogs fairly efficiently with both toons (not as good as 2 toons run by 2 players, but fed more than I could have on just 1 toon). If you've never done it, don't say hugging the wall inhibits our performance on the toon that is playing. Although this was the first time I'd ever brought 2 into CEO, the distraction was minimal to none, it's the family outside of TT that causes distractions. Actually, with only the 6 toons participating I would have to say it was a very smooth and easy seltzer round. It would have gone a bit faster if the other toons had spent more time helping instead of watching the wall huggers and whispering to them.

Next time you see a toon jumping at the top of the ramp in VP or behind a craner in CFO, or hugging the wall in CEO (never tried in CJ, what IS the best way to keep that 2nd toon alive?) - how about thanking them for bringing in those extra gags to help make the cogs go smoother instead of chastising them for concentrating on a single toon during the final battle.

On a final note, this is TEST. We don't have the luxury of 100 toons in the pit waiting to go into battle with us. We can't skip doing boss battles because we don't have enough toons, good enough gags, high enough laff, etc. or none of us would ever progress. Take some chances. Maybe you'll dance, maybe you won't - but you will gain experience that will help in the next one and maybe, just maybe, you'll be pleasantly surprised with what you can accomplish when you work together.

As the OP, I feel I have the right to reiterate my point here. I did not create the thread to be interpreted as an insult to all of TEST, and I was sad to see that some were so hurt by it, and I am not in the ship sinking business, this comment confused me...so for that I apologize. I posted my displeasure on a reported incident, in which my toon was involved. I wanted to get the attention of the toons present on the run. I wanted it to be clear that from our side, and what actually happened, I did not know their PM addresses or I would have happily written directly As a CCG Ambassador I am a huge believer in listening to both sides, as I do on a daily basis.

Those of you that know me, know that I am not a selfish player, and quite the contrary. My friend who was running my toon, shares this same characteristic. We are both CCG supporters and have contributed countless hours there. He was not there for selfish gain nor was he concerned with promoting my Flunky. Someone suggested he alt the toon, how would that have changed matters? I wonder.

I feel that my contributions on test having tested 2 HQs in the past four years, are substantial, and how often I currently attend scheduled test events do not justify any different treament, or the negative behaviors of a couple of testers, again not ALL TESTERS.

I will take all of the offered advise and take any double tooning to another district with friends as to avoid this type of situation in the future. Double tooning is not for everyone, thank you for letting us know how you feel about it.

Regards,
Scout

I just want to say that the exchange of personal information (logins and passwords) should not be encouraged, particularly for the younger sets of eyes who may be reading this. I think that all this talk of friends running toons on each others accounts sets a horrible example for children and completely undermines some of the safeguards established by Disney to protect them. For a Mod or Admin to not take that into account is irresponsible IMO, so I think Skip was wise in deleting the other thread.

I was there also and can't speak for the content of the whispers of others. I know I didn't "stink" anybody. "Are you still here?" and "Good Grief" hardly qualify as "harrassment"

We highly discourage account sharing in-game due to the need to exchange personal information. Account sharing on our site is strictly forbidden, per our policies.

The situation only involves a handful of people and most of the involved parties have given an explanation or a view. This thread is being closed due to trolling and discussion of discouraged topics such as account sharing. If further posts with trolling takes place, those users will be dealt with accordingly. Any harassment that takes place on our forum should be forwarded to a moderator or administrator.
