Big Question about Cog HQs in Test,,,

I'm flabbergasted...

Bossbot isn't even out on open yet, and already there is speculation about the "next" HQ.

Could it be a red herring?

Or could it be that some dev somewhere decided that the HQs were all so grimy looking, they just weren't complete without some evidence of sewers?

But hey, I've been accused before of being a stick-in-the-mud, so never mind me, if speculating about something that may or may not be coming in TWO YEARS is fun, have at it!

Well, no one is really sure on what those are there for. They could be there on accident, or could be there just to be there. Mabey when you max an HQ you have the access to tp through it to another HQ.

But, my thoughts are they are there to try and make us think. Everytime something new pops up, someone makes a prediction and that one prediction spreds. Yet, that predcition was wrong. Then everyone says,"Well, I heard from my friend who heard it from his friend that the (new item) is there because of (the prediction )." Then, we have a conspricy to handle.


So no one is quite sure on these manholes, yet could be a bug, tp access, or just for decoration.

wht does it say on the manhole? I made SLIVLH out of the writing... could this be a code or something?

Well it's obvious what they are for .... it's the way those Super Stinky toons gain access to the TT sewers, hence the stink!

If you're not familiar with the Super Stinky toons - well lucky you. I've met a few of em and boy, do they need a bath!

Its a teleportation code, lol.

I am hoping very much that they are meant for teleport usage and would be very mad if they weren't. I mean, really think positive about this for once, wouldn't it be great to be able to teleport from HQ to HQ without having to do the little amount of distance the average person would be too lazy to walk anyway.

Lady Freckles would certainly be in for a suprise if they were meant for teleportation.

We toons have the ability to pull a hole out of our, errrm, waistband, throw it on the ground, and teleport anyway (else) in our tooniverse, no matter how it defies human laws of physics.... why in the world would we need to crawl through sewers to get to HQ?


Well, on second thought, BECAUSE it makes no logical sense, that's what it MUST be... we ARE talking TT devs here!

lol, I was thinking the same at first two, then I second guessed myself as you did. "oh wait this is the TT devs we're talking about who are trying very hard to do something 'new' and 'different' from now on"

Hmm, as others pointed out, one of the first things I saw was the letters on the manholes. But I have not been able to read them either, I'm thinking it has something to do with a sewer, and it probably does, as most manholes lead to sewers.

Thus, I am going to give my idea for what, most likely will not happen, but would be pretty cool if it did, the manholes are for. I think maybe a toon could crawl down in there, and find a secret trade way for cogs. Have you ever wondered how the cogs transport items around Toontown? Well, maybe this is how they do, and maybe, as posted in other threads, there will be a Cog Nation, as we have Toontown. And maybe their tunnels through the sewer, is like our streets in Toontown. And they might have one central "Playground" which they would probably call "The Headquarters" not a headquarters, but "The Headquarters" that would be home to a new type of cogs with the "Chairman" or whatever he will be called as the first Cog that created all cogs, as their boss cog (like the VP, CFO, CJ, and CEO).

But that's just what I think would be cool if it happened.

But I'm almost positive they are going to make some big update that is cog related, it may have nothing to do with this or be anything near this, but there will have to be. Because can you imagine what TT would be like after a few years with no updates? Very boring for most.

Also with the fact that the cog hq's are in the four corners...I think something like this is very plausible

i heard from some one that those sewer things are gonna be like long hallways to get from one cog HQ to another and there might be obsticles or cogs or "SOMETHING" else down there
