This is because you don't automatically get a test account. You have to apply and be accepted before you actually play on a test account, otherwise you get a free account which is exactly the same as an open free trial account.

Test Trial
I keep reading these posts on test trial, and decided to test it myself. Now first most important "You are NOT a tester until you recieve a email from Disney with a user name and password, welcoming you as a tester!"
I recently started up a 3rd account on open in order not to interupt my daughter playing her account. Reading these posts I decided to try signing into test using my open acct information for the new account that does not have a test acct linked to it. Yes, you can make a toon, but you can't even race a track that counts, you cannot leave TTC, you basically can't do anything but play in TTC. It isn't even a 3 day trial, it last less then 2 days before I was told I needed to subscribe to sign in. With that said, it's best to apply and wait for that email from Disney rather then clog up the Test servers on a toon that cannot advance! |

Well, I have to say that I have never tried using a game card, so I don't know for a fact. What I read ( in the thread-everything you need to know about becoming a tester) is that with a game card , you do not have a parent password, which you must have in order to be approved for test. A credit card allows Disney to verify that an adult is applying. That does not necessarily mean that you must be an adult to play on test, but you must be an adult to set up a parent password, and apply for a test account. I tend to agree with them on this, because children are less likely to take being a tester seriously. That's only my opinion-please don't flame me!

Read what Kait is telling you, 'you have to apply for and be accepted' inorder to have a fully functional test account. Plus you are aware that once you have a test account that you have to build your test toon(s) up from 15 laff? You don't get to transfer your open toon to test. The application link to apply is on the open login page.

I'm sorry you are having a hard time understanding what everyone is trying to tell you. Test is NOT given to everyone who has an open account. To play on test, you must be invited by Disney, and have a paid (yes, sorry paid with a credit card) account. If you logged on to the test server with your open account log in name and password, you do NOT have a test account. Disney emails the people they have accepted as testers, with a new log in and password. They have not accepted testers for a while.

Yes,
Basically whenever Disney is accepting new testers, they will post a notice on both the Open and Test sites. Usually this happens when new updates are about to be released on Test (such as HQ's). Until that happens, you cannot apply to be a tester. You will get an email from Disney with a username and password to a TOTALLY DIFFERENT account from the one you have on the Open Servers. And last time I checked (and goodness knows I do not want to give you the wrong information) you didn't have to pay extra to be a tester. You just had to do something with a parent password that allowed you to sign up. So again, until you APPLY to be a test toon, You cannot be one. And the only time that you can sign up is when you see a huge notice on the websites. If not, you can't sign up. They don't want too many testers at one time, especially ones that do not want to actually test things out; instead they explore the new updates and then don't go on again 'till the next. You cannot be a test toon unless you apply directly from a "sign-up now" notice on the Open Server website, which will direct you to the sign-up page, and receive an email from Disney confirming the account details for your ENTIRELY SEPERATE account from the Open "108 laff" one. I hope I helped you! Warmest Wishes in hope that you may summon the intelligence to grasp the meaning of the previous paragraph, The Darkmew PS that last sentence was a joke... <.> |

What is it that we dont understand? Please, tell us what it is that you're having trouble with...specifically...so we can answer your question.
Because all i see was in your first post, you are under Free Trial on test. A couple people have told you that you have to apply to be a tester and wait to get accepted. Then, you tell people you are using a gamecard. Once again, a few people have said that you need to use a Credit Card to pay for your Open account before you can sign up. Whether or not you have a parent password. So please, we can't answer whatever question it is that you're asking if you don't tell us what it is that you really want to know. |
