First, I can't download test town. Secondly, can you fight, I don't konw, the CFO on it for free?

To get on Test TT, You Have to apply for a test account. as long as you have an paying account on open Toontown, you can do everything on test tt for free. (including the cfo.) If you have TT on open, you should be able to download Test TT too.

What do you mean by "free"? As the above poster said you have to apply for a test account. Also the same rules for suits and the like are the same on test as they are on open. When BBHQ shows up there will be a period of time that you don't need a suit to fight the "Chairman" (that might be his name).

Test is exactly like Open, you still need to create a new toon and build it the same way. The only time we were able to do Boss Battles for "free" (without earning suit or credits) was when we were testing them. When Bossbot Hq opens, we will probably be able to do those battles for "free" until all the bugs are found and the difficulty level is set.

i dotn get it why do ppl want to always get on the test? wats so great abotu it its the same thing as regul;ar toontown but things come out like 2 days earlier.. is it easier to max on it or something?

Only for 3 days and your toon can't leave the Toontown Central playground. Even being able to have a free trial on Test is fairly new.

People want to be on Test because they want to see the new content first. Yes, Testers get to try the new content first, but it is generally very buggy. We often have crashes and district resets when we test something new, and then have to submit bug reports about those problems. It can take far more than 2 or 3 days for major new content to reach the public servers. If you were doing something important when the crash or district reset occurs, you have to start all over again. We also go long stretches of time without having anything to test.

It is not easier to max toons on Test, if anything it is harder. There are relatively few people playing on Test at any given time, but there are often quite a few when there is something new to Test out. People often do a lot of solo work while building their toons.

Once a person is accepted to the waiting list for Test, it can take a while before they receive a Test account. People on the waiting lists are usually accepted when they are about to release something new. In the 3 years that I have been a Tester, I have found that many people with new Test accounts get bored or frustrated once the initial excitement wears off, and they drift back to the public servers.

You've just made this harder. Why don't people just go on test if it's exactly the same?!!!!!!

To my knowledge the is no free trail for test. You have have a paid account on open and then apply and be accepted for an account on test.

not many people go on test because not many people actually have test accounts. i know some people who waited for YEARS and still don't have a test account.

I don't know what you find hard to understand, Test is simply meant to be played just like Open so that issues are found and fixed before the new content is placed on the Open servers. Sometimes Testers have to experience many crashes before the cause is found and fixed.

Sometimes an update can affect other, unrelated aspects of the game. For example: When Goofy Speedway opened, the ground in Sellbot Hq suddenly became paved with bricks. After the level 7 gags were released, the evidence in the CJ battle suddenly became Wedding Cakes. When the CFO and CJ battles were released, the difficulty levels needed to be adjusted until they were not too hard or too easy. Testers find these types of problems and submit reports about them, so that they are fixed before the updates reach Open.
