Test Toontown?
I am not new to Toontown. But I am wondering what test is? I know its like Toontown except you see things before they actually come out. I am try to convince my dad to let me check it out. Please reply A.S.A.P

lol when i signed up i got it in about 2 weeks.
at a really random time before cbhq came out. but to answer your question test is just a copy of toontown with toons that test new stuff before they are released on open for all the rest of the toon world to experience. they basically just find bugs and problems with stuff and report them to disney so they can fix them. hope that helps if there is anything else you need to know just ask :]

It takes forever. I talked to the staff. The servers are filled to capacity at this time so they say they are not taking any new people. Wouldn't hurt to get your name on the list though if you are really interested.

I think that its kind of random, some people got it really fast and some wait few years and still didn't get it. For example lets say that you went in the list 3 years ago and your friend did it only 2 months ago, but he got his test account and you didn't. So i really think that its random.
And you can only have a test account if you play at USA server. UK server is the same and they play with USA members, but they log in from a different website and they can't have a test account. Anyway, few things about test: If you get your test account you better be nice, because they can delete your account if they want. This is why ALL the toons i met at test server were very nice, except two. If you cheat or do something wrong, at open you will get banned, but in test they will delete your account. When GSW came out, i had a friend who cheated and he made all the records at the table in both districts (there is only 2 in test), and few days later they deleted his test account. There are some toons there who have ALL the 49 gags (toon up, trap, lure, sound, throw, squirt AND drop) and this toons are people who work at toontown. But you will need to start a new toon there and you won't have all the 7 gags, you will only have 6 gags like open. You will need to work super hard to get an high laffer there, because this place is empty. You can find a lot of toons when there is something new, but they only work on this new thing. When open server is closed, some people go to test, but even then its hard to find them. You can't really work on your toon after TTC because its really hard to do everything with no help. Hard to work on cog hqs too because there are no invasions. But they know that there is not a lot of toons who have high laffers there, so when they open a new cog hq, at the start they let you go in with any laff, without merits and without suit parts. Its only for few days, but if you work really hard you might max your test toon at this cog hq.

Sometimes they ask us to check out particular parts of the game. When they had us check out the trial accounts, it was really boring. We couldn't take most of our toons out of tt central except on alternating days. There are bugs sometimes which cause crashes, and other problems. But most of the testers realize that if we do a good job of helping Disney find and correct the problems, TT will be more fun for everyone. Most testers DO care about other people's fun. If you don't, please stay out of test. If you do, you will be welcome in test. madamS

You know I have met so many people who have test accounts but NEVER play on them. In fact this person has 3. They even told me that (I am not naming anyone). It just really upsets me that someone can be that selfish. Please to everyone out there, appreciate your test account!

I don't really think selfishness comes into it. If TT decides to approve someone who already has a test account, that's up to them. If someone doesn't play on test for a while that's up to them too. Trust me, I've seen many many people over the years begging for a test account only to do nothing but whine and complain once they get one - not enough people, gotta build a new toon, too hard to play test without more people. I've heard it all.
Sure it's nice to see the new stuff early BUT it's always hard to enjoy any of it because it's so buggy. Usually with a major update there are disconnects constantly, resets, you can't finish anything you start etc etc. I'd say that a large amount of tester truly appreciate their test accounts, even if they aren't able to play every day. Just as with Open, real life comes first.
