I for one have not jumped off the elevator at a low count.
I am however a party to not taking anyone that is 15-40 laff. As for Law... it's not exciting. The DA floors are all the same. The same set of cogs... nothing exciting and stupid puzzles that do nothing. The CJ fight - the cog part is easy... the cannon part is ok... but as far as I'm concerned... my enjoyment will be running around other playgrounds and seeing if ppl need help. Edit: The puzzles if you do win... take away cogs. What's the point? There's only 12 per floor and if you need high cogs for a task, I suggest not doing the puzzles. We now have a large infusion of testers that do not regularly play on test, are there just to satisfy their curiosity. And most of these are low laffers, as we've all seen.
But rather than focus on the few that make things unpleasant, let's focus on the ones that are testing their little hearts out and helping others as well. We need to keep a good sense of humor about some things, we need alot of cooperation from everyone and we need to work together to test this game. We are there to test and report not only the bugs we encounter, but also what we think of the game play. So to everyone that I have battled with, whether we won or lost, thanks! We all tried very hard and gave it our best shot. |

My turn to rant a little....
I would really like to know why test has the attitude of open. We now have a new street and a new HQ to test and all I am seeing is elevator shuffles and "Sorry, I'm helping a friend" phrases.
When I started on test many moons ago, I remember people that went out of their way to help me get my sellbot suit and run VP's with me. They brought all of their friends into help and let me know that they were there to help me, no matter what it took! WOW! I almost cried at the generosity!!! So, now I will get down to the meat and potatoes of this post: Why, as testers, must we be so concerned with worrying who we are playing with when a new HQ comes out? Aren't we there to find the problems with the game and report them rather than building up our suits and our egos? Leave your petty point status and suit size at the door. We were chosen to do a job. I, for one, don't care who I go and fight the VP, CFO and CJ with...if they got a suit on, they are supposed to be there. If I die, I'll restock my gags and go back and do it again. Remember...we all had to start at the bottom when we got on test.

I don't like shuffling, but I have a very important message to you. Get used to it.
The world will never be perfect and the sooner you learn this the better. Test's purpose isn't a "shuffle-free zone" it's for finding bugs and reporting them. The shuffle was inevitable with all these curious toons coming to Lawbot HQ. Say you asked everyone about to fight the Chief Justice whether they intended to win or not. How many of them would say that they were going in to find bugs, regardless of how far they get? Not many. Most of us will want to find bugs and report them, but we also want to experience Lawbot HQ as well. Alot of others probably want to just see the Chief Justice and don't care a bit about bugs. People need to understand that someone who just arrived at Lawbot HQ probably has getting a victory as their first priority. If you want a victory, chances are you'll be choosy as to who you want to go with you. Now I don't believe in stinking noobs and telling them to go away. I understand perfectly well why they're there. It's probably the same reason I'm there. |

How do you know that people wouldn't say that they are there to find the bugs in the game? If people want to show status and power....go back to open. If people want to have fun....so be it! They pay for it, they shouldn't have to be bullied for enjoying themselves. Of course this (and my previous post) were only my opinion. (Remember, Toontown IS only a game.)

I hate this just as much as the next guy. I just got some extra time to stay up and to a DA. Instead of fighting I spent it shuffling. I wish it would stop too. I just wanted to point out that it was inevitable.
What really burns me is that I'm being called a noob by some people that I'm WAY higher than on open. |

Let's have fun with the game people. When we all work together, we enjoy the game and keep coming back.

I'm on your side here. I hate the shuffle. But it will never go away and we need to learn to live with it.
My attitude toward the game is just fine and I don't think it's one of the most important aspects of my life. And I was talking to the first person by the way. I hadn't read your post. |

Well look something new comes to test and then the bad part comes along and that would be the toons that dont care like u said. But once law goes to open then so will the toons. So just hang in there and u should see this place go back to its original ways.Having test is like a real honor and these new players dont know that yet and then thats how it turns into open. But if they knew how lucky they really are to have test then they would actually treat it better. But since they put the now accepting sign on the front page those new players might now never know the rights on this toontown at the rate new ones are added.

Shuffle can go away if we want it to. As far as new toons being accepted left and right and not knowing what is going on, I beg to differ. Both of my daughters have several toons and applied to test over a year ago, they are well into the 100's, and test hasn't accepted them. Also, there are testers that have chosen to keep their LP's low (ubbers...sp) for the challenge but have very high gags. Not everyone that has a low laffer toon is new to test. Assumptions keep getting made and that is what leads to conflict. The low laffer that you are dissing could very well have a 118 laffer toon that is waiting in the wings to make your life miserable.
What goes around comes around.................

Test site is for testing
I know people are curious and that is the reason for a lot of low laffers coming to see what it's like.
My only thought is that they do hinder a bit for toons to get away into the CJ boss battle to locate bugs. I, for one, have been kicked out twice during the cannon battle to place jurors in the chair, which appears to be a bug. If we haven't gotten that far, then we wouldn't have found out there is a bug that occasionally causes discoes. We ARE testers, you know! Colonel Chocoluck |

Don't go off on each other
the main problem right now is 15 -20's blocking the ele and not letting anyone play. Test is still a helpful place, others have to have respect too, high or low. Friends or groups are trying to go together, and others won't let them, you can't pull a, you stink, on that, just wait for an invite. I'm just trying to go with any team without 20lp griefers, blocking the ele., spent two hours not getting on. Wild I have ubers too, I am not trying to force them on groups or friends in Law though, small diff., not that you are doing that. Just why everyone getting cranky.
