Why you have been waiting to get on test.

I have noticed that you need 112 laffpoints to be accepted into test. Tons of toons have entered without the appropiate laff. I am on it because when I signed up, all you had to have was 100. Now you need 112! This is most likely why you are still on the waiting list. It does seem odd that Disney wouldn't tell you you couldn't be on the test server though.

Well if it used to be 100 then it was no problem for me but now since law hq has come out on test thats probably why it got to 112.

Never lied here. If you don't believe me. You are stood corrected. Disney I guess isn't looking at your lp's then. Click here to see what I am talking about.

Tyler, I can see how that post of Disney's about 112 laffers and Test might confuse you.

Once upon a time, a little over a year ago, before Cashbot HQ came out, 112 was the highest laff you could reach in Toontown. You had to reach Holly 50 and catch all 70 fish. It was really hard to do, and only a very few achieved it. The first two toons to hit 112 laff (Loosy Goosy and Alondra, I believe) actually got their names and pictures in the Toontown Newsletter! That's how big a deal it was at the time.

My guess is that Disney wrote that paragraph about 112 laffers and the Test server over a year ago, in response to people who were impatient for Cashbot HQ and wondering what they could do while waiting. If you read it carefully, you'll see it says that Test is for "advanced toons", not for "112 laff toons".

To my knowledge, there has never been a requirement that testers achieve a certain laff level on Open before being accepted on Test. If the requirement were 112 laff, then I would never have been accepted on Test, and neither would a lot of other testers who I know.

The real requirement is space. There are only two servers on Test (plus Welcome Valley), so there simply isn't enough room for everyone who would like to come. So Disney keeps a wait list, and when there is room, the players get invited to become testers.

Hope this explains things a little better.

I know what he means. Before it used to say "What happens when I reach 100Laffpoints?" Now it says 112. They did change it. And it had to have been recently.

it says 112

yes on the disney page it does say 112 laff to be accepted, but when disney accpets toons to test they do no background check, they do not see how long youve been a member or anything. you get put on a waiting list, and as soon as theres space it goes through and first come first serve. at certain times of year your not even allowed to apply to test (mostly when new things are not even close to ready)

im pretty sure they have that on the main page because alot of people were saying to them, ok now im maxxed what else can i do? so they give the link to test,

1.) becuse then they have to start over and try to max out another toon.

2.) because alot of people still want to try out test and see all the new things.

but the only reqirment to test as far as ive known is that you have to be a paying member

that isn't true

I was barely in DDL with Deputy Dynowoof with less than 100 laff when I got accepted in Oct 2004. I was only 5 months old and wasn't playing all that much. If they need testers, you can be accepted anytime.
