Toon size seems to make a difference in CJ

Now that they made the CJ Evidence round more difficult, I have made an interesting observation: Toon size does matter!

I have had a Small Toon effect on my tall cat from before Law Hq opened. I found with the initial release that I could not throw the evidence into the scale until the scale was fairly low, so I stunned at first. Once the scale is at a low level, I have very good results.

Today I did a CJ battle with a few of my sf; they were all normal toons with no appearance change. Most of my friends in that battle have small sized toons (mice, ducks, smaller rabbits), only one was a tall horse. My friend with the tall horse toon was the only one who could throw evidence into the scale at the beginning of the battle. Since she was the only one, needless to say we did not win.

I have reported this observation and I hope anyone else who noticed it does. The way the battle is set now, small sized toons are at a great disadvantage.

My cat was normal size for the first couple of tries in the battle and then small for a couple, and I found that you just have to adjust where you stand. Similar to VP, you need to find the spot that works and then adjust again as the scale goes down a bit. Also I varied the speed of my taps on the insert button to see what worked best for me.

I was swapping between stunning cogs and throwing at the scale, so maybe I missed something. Will watch more closely next time.

I have tried adjusting my position as well as the range, I find it is very difficult to get the evidence into the scale at the beginning of the battle now. I now start the round by stunning cogs first.

I tried standing far away and even up close adjusting my range of throwing evidence... but being a small toon... I can't reach the scale when it's hitting the clouds.
I think I did better before I took the small toon look.
I still think the battle is unfair. The cogs shouldn't be having more wins than us.

My duck is the smallest of small toons and I have no problem with throwing evidence in the basket. You just want the meter to run up to blue before you fire and throw frequently to keep it in that range. I dont need to be back very far at all.

Small toon seems to be hard to TU with evidence. The way around it is to stand on the base of the scale. Still, it's easier to toon with a normal or big toon.

Just curious...do you have the small toon effect from doing a task?
I am the smallest duck and I have the small toon thing. I tried to hit from all different distances and yes, meter was full. When scale was at it's highest I just could not seem to reach it.

Yes, small toon from a task and I have the short legs too so my toon is the smallest you can get. The only problem I have in there is I can't get hit with evidence because I'm so short, but it's not a problem as we don't tune anyway. I can tell you though, it seems to matter how fast your computer is as to how high you can get the pies to go and how fast. On my older computer it's just not as responsive, on my new one it takes a split second to get the meter up, allowing me to throw faster and higher. I stand the same distance from it as regular sized toons. Those with the long legs or big toon effects seem to have to stand further back.
