No Beans for Beggars!

I was just approached in the gag shop by a toon, begging for beans. I walked in, and she said "Wow", "I need more jellybeans", "Can you help me?". My response to her and to anyone else who asks me for beans was and will be "Let's go fishing!". I will happily give beans to strangers at the designated beanfests, but will NEVER give beans to a beggar. I found this more annoying today as I gave over 2500 beans at the beanfest yesterday. Why on earth would I give beans to just one toon, when I can give to over 100 .

I think it's selfish for someone to ask you to give them beans. Go fishing, ride the trolley, or take tasks that reward you with beans, until you can attend the next beanfest. I never give beans to beggars either.

Thank you so very much for yesterday's beanfest! I have a full bank now! Yay! Hopefully one day I'll be able to contribute too.

As for the beggers, I detest that too! My usual response is "Let's go on the trolley!", "Don't wait for me."

I'm one of those toons with no beans that can't wait for the beanfests!! I think I understand this person when they say things like, "Wow! I need jellybeans!!" Or whatever it was. But, I don't agree that begging you for beans is right. I mean, we have beanfests 2/7 days a week!! Can't they just wait??? Also, you can't always just try to take the, "easy way out." You can work for beans too, just ride the trolley or go fishing. I know it's the easiest way to get beans (and I prefer it too, trust me) but sometimes you have to get them yourself. I think you made a good decision. Even though I can't exactly relate to this because I have never been begged for beans, I think I get where you're coming from. Well I just felt like adding my own two cents.

omg, i would be embarrassed to justask one toon to give me beans lol.
if i need them, i know where to get them and when..(beanfest) and until then
go fishing, it s the fastest way to ge tthem.

I have lost count of the number of times I have been asked on Open recently. It seems that since the new tracks and Grand Prix opened, all the beggars are now seeking high laffers who are racing.
