I am assuming when you say 26 cogs, you mean per side. Because I am quite sure we had more than 13 on ours. I lost count at 12 because of the way some were killed off. To be honest, I expected a much more difficult battle than what we were presented with. Excluding the puzzles etc...I would have to say that the bullion mint battles themselves hold more difficulty than the cog battle in the CFO chamber.

Yeah we didn't lose any parts, just the bucks. Still unknown what happens if you go sad though. Would really stink to have to get 9800 cog bucks all over again to go back in and fight. I am sure we will find out eventually. OOOOF!

Yes, per side. Actually, Rubba Duckie was counting how many cogs she faced, I forgot to tally my cogs during the dance....was too busy getting excited about the full cogbuck meter! The cog battle was easy. We were a bit nervous as one of the previous updates had made the cog round quite difficult...over 30 cogs and none of them under lvl 8. But, this one at least was quite easy. We were excited to get a full toonup Unite phrase! It would be nice if there were some way of knowing ahead of time what Unite phrase you were going to receive so you could decide if you wanted to be there for the end of the show. Imagine having to get 8900 cogbucks for 100 Jb's! We were all disappointed that Somebunny, a RB 50, will have to earn another 8900 cogbucks. The good news is that the bullion mint has been very generous lately and some runs with 45 cogs have netted almost 1500 bucks. The bad news is Disney's disclaimer that the mint and factory are currently giving higher rewards which will be adjusted in future updates. Rubba needed 5500 merits so we did the factory a few times today. The supposedly "higher reward" there totaled 530 merits for a full factory. Easier cogs but STILL!!! I hope Disney will do something to make Sellbot merits less time consuming. Perhaps they should permanently raise the value of the cogs, provide alternative ways to earn merits, or lower the amount of merits needed. BTW - I am glad I'm on ventrilo because typing out all these numbers would be a ROYAL pain!

I have not done nearly as many CFO battles as some on these boards, but I did notice that nearly every time I saw Mata Hari, she was wearing a different cog suit. My guess is that the suit somehow correlates with what sort of Unite prhase you receive. Otherwise, why go to all the trouble of putting her in a different suit each time? Can anyone confirm this guess??? Violet B. (Penny Pincher extraordinaire) <bwg>

Unite Phrase
Quote:
The cog suit theory is interesting, but I hope it is not true. I would hate to see half of a group leave just because they do not like the Unite phrase, leaving the rest of the group to fight a losing battle. Thanks for the fun run last night. It is nice to go to bed on a good note. You guys are great!
