Cog Levels in Mint?

Is it just me playing way too much TT or has the level of cogs gone up in the mints since the update the other day? Seemed like there were a few 8/9s but when I went in the last time I was faced with a lot more level 11's four at a time in one room. Also looks like the gag experience that you get has also gone down.

The mint is now full of 10's and 11's. The number of cogs has increased as well. From what I have been told, the number is 32 instead of the 20 we were facing before.

I did a Dollar Mint run the other day (middle elevator) with a friend and it did seem a bit harder than before. There were fewer 8/9, but we did come in on Floor 20 if I remember right.

Miss Pet Agree and I also noticed that the elevator was different. It almost looks bigger now, like 8 toons could fit. Everyone was in the Cash CFO, so we could test this out, has anyone else noticed a change in elevator size? Many will attest to the fact that I am nuts, so the bigger elevator could very well be a figment of my imagination!

Pink went in with 3 this morning on the long run and it took forever! They also had the floor set-up so that you went straight from the new stomper room to the Pain Room as my friends call it (Paint hehe). Looks like there will be lots of sad toons in DDL when this hits open!

Add: I am really curious since the new CHQ is geared to "advanced toons" if they will have something that prevents lower laff toons from entering the mint. Seems to me that pre-Brrgh toons don't have a reason to be in the mint as far as task. With the level of difficulty of the obstacles and cog levels if there isn’t a limit as far as laff implemented I foresee the elevator shuffle being even crazier than it is on open.

I should clarify that the 32 cogs were in the Bullion Mint.

Finally managed to complete a run through the center mint - three of us went in, we lost one to the "paint" and faced a total of 24 cogs, none lower than Level 10. The last 3 battles were 4 11s, 4 11s and 3 11s and a 12.


I'm not sure exactly when they changed it but I have noticed the upgrade in Cog levels for a couple of days now.

If this is the way the mints are going to be, the popularity of XXX 11+ cogs as a toontask should increase greatly.

A quick question, I don't remember, do you get alot of tasks to defeat cashbots while your in MM? I know the lower 2 streets there seem to be geared more toward cashbots, but can't remember the tasks too well (it seems like forever since I was working there ) It could draw toons from there if they need cashbots, could be interesting.

The Mint levels have been tweaked and fine tuned for better play balance and variety.

From the Feb. 3rd update. It was changed when the CFO battle was adjusted, probably why it got overlooked.

Round 1 of cogs: 10 10 11 11

Round 2 of cogs: 11 10 10 10

Round 3 of cogs: 11 10 11 10

The 3 small stompers
The Crate push stomper
Diamond shaped goon room with goons
Goon room with goons and toon up barrel in corner

Round 4 of cogs: 12 11 11 11

Cogs:
7 x 10
8 x 11
1 x 12 16 total

Hey there you. i am 62 laff and almost out of TB (working on TP right now) and I have yet to be offered any tasks for the Mint or CFO. So my guess is there is either a PG or laff minimum requirement.

There is, you get the tasks for parts in dl, so you have to be past tb. That however doesn't keep lower toons from attempting the mint, and I'll admit it was nicer getting some of those brrrgh tasks done by going through the mint than searching for buildings!!

I haven't been able to fight in the CHQ cuz my test toon is only 18 laff points....dang it sounds hard.

OOOf No kiddin! Sorry we lost ya in the Bullion Mint Lady F! And thanks for tryin so hard to get me across that huge gear room. That is a total nightmare lol. my little one kept having to help poor uncoordinated me :P
I almost went sad in the paint and used up all my tu and cakes and such. So finally 2 SOS cards and MY Toons of The World-GAg-up later, Toonacious D' and I beat the foreman. Sheesh that was tough but a thrill to make it through!

No worries Zilly...I'm glad you both made it through! Guess those cogs didn't care much for me...LOL

No problem with the gear either - that thing takes a little practice to find just the right spot for you. I know you will get it mastered and be flying across there soon.

Either that or I will be calling my little one into the room every time I try to go through there hee hee. We had a little team effort there, she would get me over to the stompers and then I would do that part then she would go over to the last pillar before the money shelf. Neither of us could manage that jump though. When we tried jumping from the edge we couldn't stay in the air long enough... maybe a run and jump?
