Fighting The CFO

OK, after going in to fight the CFO a few times, here is what needs to be done. Ultimately, you will have 8 players making a full team, but the same concept applies no matter how many you have. To be successful, you will need at least six members, I cannot envision it being able to be done with any less.

For those who are the crane operators, first you must understand the concept of the safes. The safe is first used to knock off the helmet of the CFO. After that, you can only use one for one of two reasons. One is to team with another crane member. One throws a goony, the other follows immediately with a safe. Remeber more than one safe at a time will cause him to use a safe as a helmet. The other reason you would use the crane is if there are more than 5 goonies on your side of the floor. The toon who is the stomper wil not be able to keep up with those plus the new ones that are coming out of the CFO, particularly when the battle intensifies to the orange goonies. You must help clear these goonies to save both your laff points and those of your stomper partner.

For the stomper Person, you must realize that you have a zone to cover. Do not go running around the room in search of tune up points, or just because you are bored. It will only lead to trouble. Your job is to stomp the goonies for your crane operator to use, as well as protect them from being beemed by them. You will get more than enough tune ups in your area. You just need to exercise a little patience. Also be prepared to jump on the crane if your operaor gets hit to many times by the cogs the CFO throws. Let him get tuned, and then resume your place.

This is not that difficult a thing to do, if we all show some patience. I realize people fight over using the crane, but truthfully the most important job is those who are stomping the goonies. You provide both ammunition and protection. You are the front line in this battle. Please play smart, and play to win.

you are correct

I went with 6 today which unfortunately got down to 5 immediately. We went ahead and tried it anyhow with 3 on cranes and 2 on patrol. We won in a long tough battle. Using this stradegy with good people on the floor stomping, it is very possible to win with 5.

All I will say is this....

Do you think you could win if you had, lets say, three toons fighting the CFO?

I think if you had three good players that used teamwork you could beat the CFO with just three. Any thoughts?

Now that we have some practice, I think it would be possible, although extremely difficult, to beat the CFO with three toons. Two really good ones on cranes and one really good stomper.

However, one problem that could prevent this is that when you get down to fewer toons, the CFO aims at you more, so you will have to get off the crane more often.

With that few toons, I'd say a 2/2 combo would be better, along with a "musical
crane" round robbin change-up. The 2 stompers shift to the 2 unused cranes,
and the prior crane operators shift to stomping. Repeat as necessary.

I agree Loosy, was just responding to his premise. I think, with a little luck, 4 good toons could do it in a reasonable amount of time.
