Bad Hare Day (Lady Zippy Boingenpretzel) and I went in together and got disco'd and then tried again with a group...I'm posting some screenies from there....

The Adventure begins.... (this was our 2nd venture in actually but we started it out with 8 instead of 2 this time but lost one in the elevator...)

I am wondering what do the 4 toons that are not at Magnet Control Stations do? Do they get to just run around in the room trying to not get hit or something? Are we too take turns at the Magnets?

Do the goons hurt you while you are at the Stations? Does the CFO throw gears and stuff like the VP?

Ok here goes...

*The runners stomp on goons and each time they do so an ice cream cone appears for TU purposes. They also protect the magnet operators from the goonies.

*If you get zapped by a goonie as you are operating a magnet station, you fall back from it and another toon can take your place at that point if necessary.

*So far no gears from the CFO though I did hear a noise that sounded like he might Jump at some future update.

When we went to the second phase the captured toon gave us tips on how to do it. We all agreed those went by TOO fast. Next time I intend to take pics of each thing he says so we can post and review them. As soon as the kids get on the bus I will be back on to try again!

Immediately before getting disco'd, I am pretty sure I hit the guy in the head with a safe (which I think was what the toon said to do). Lil Pinkersmirk remembers someone hitting him just before, too. So maybe that is what made us crash. No idea whether this would have beat him or it would take more. Guess time will tell!

**EDIT: Zilly took the pics of the tips. They are posted in the other "cashbot VP is here" thread". Zilly - was that all of them?

It was funners ... I think there is definately going to have to be some cooperation in a group amongst those who can control the magnets well and those who are better running around. I am not super coordinated so it will take me some time to get the hang of the magnets.

I have seen him tossing gears out but didn't get hit by one. Takes some practice to work the cranes, but with the disco's we never get very far.

I agree with Zilly here... The ones that are running around though need to try and help keep the goons off of the magnet controllers. When you stomp on the goons they become disabled and turn into ice cream cones for laff +3. Some goons take out -6 laff and some take out -8 laff this can be costly for those trying to control the magnets. Also when the controller gets zapped they get knocked off the podium..
Still waiting to make it through successful battle 4 discos now.

here is something important I noticed...if you touch an ice cream but your laff is full, it STILL goes away. So we should try not to touch them unless we need them (I think I will report that, it may be a mistake). I accidentally picked up several I didn't need, then couldn't find them when I DID need them!

Also - still getting booted each time (if I am correct the ENTIRE team gets booted at once - can anyone confirm or deny this?). But it is NOT a waste of time IMO. We are getting valuable practice and insight while testing it.

Well - back I go for another pummeling/booting lol

Yep, we all get booted at the same time. I know that in three of the four disconnects, someone went sad right before we all disco'd. Not sure if that makes a difference or it's just a coincidence.

Back for another try....watch out for flying goons!

I went in solo shortly after the update. There wasn't anyone around and I'm kinda kamikazee that way, I just wanted to see! No clue how to hit the VP with a safe yet!
