Question

is it just me or is test really blurry? things on open appear much clearer to me but for some reason things like words and numbers are blurry on test. should i reinstall? i can't take screenshots on there either. i really think i should reinstall now.. lol.

I do not see a distinction between the two on my system. It may be that your resolution for test is set lower than your open resolution. I have seen the low res settings (640x480 or 800x600) tend to blur a bit on TT. I would check what settings you have on open and see if there is a difference between the two. Hope it helps.

ok thank you i'll check that. right now i'm installing winxp sp2 and also updating my video card drivers. i tried reinstalling toontown and Open was blurred and i still couldn't take screenshots. so i'm hopin this works.

i also heard about an ActiveX problem when installing winxp sp2.. could someone tell me how to fix that or direct me to a thread about it?

thank you! unfortunately, windows update won't let me install sp2. i've tried a couple times and it failed. ugh.. now i reinstalled toontown (open) again to see if anything worked and it hasn't changed. still blurred words and no screenshots.

i don't know what to do! i updated with windows update as much as i could, updated my video card, and removed all the spyware/adware i had. i guess i'll try to defragment now but i'm open to more suggestions.. help anyone!

It's a resolution problem (I know for sure). Go into your book and go to settings (light switch icon). You should see a resolution setting with "Change" button. Change it above 800x600. That should do the trick.

If you have a flatscreen monitor (lcd) you should try setting it to 1280x1024. Alot of LCD's will look strange in resolutions lower than that. Dont know why *shrugs*
