Violet Bagelburger comes to Test!!
Hi, Everyone--
Well, we got the good news last night that we are off the waiting list and onto the test server. (It only took about two weeks--amazing!) Daughter Ginger and I will be creating our test toons sometime today and look forward to seeing all of you on test. The tentative name for my test toon is Lady Daffodil Bagelburger, who will be Violet's cousin--and not a supernoob. <g> Don't yet know what Ginger's plans are for her test toon. Our first morning on Test....
Thanks to all of you for the warm welcomes. Will be sending you guys some codes later today when I get back on.
We enjoyed playing around on the test server this morning. I haven't seen so much excitement about Toontown in this house since Sellbot HQ hit the streets last year! It was refreshing to play in a quiet, intimate setting with such nice, helpful players. The spirit of cooperation was inspiring to see. We created three toons, took turns playing them, and got them all up to choosing toon-up before it was time to go: Lady Daffodil Bagelburger (played by mom Violet Bagelburger) Fluffums Sparkleton (played by daughter Ginger) Yellow Mouse (played by the son formerly known as Fluffy before mom took him over <g>) We had some problems with the computer freezing, which cut into Lady Daffodil's time prematurely. These problems are probably related to our computer rather than Test, since we've had problems on Open in recent days as well. Otherwise, all went VERY smoothly--we experienced less lag and faster system response on test compared with Open, which was very nice. It was nice to see some familiar faces--Miss Marple, TWO Bellyrinas, and probably many others in disguise. Coral Monkey and Cream Duck--If you're out there, Lady Daffodil would be happy to send you some codes. :-) Let's get this party started! Violet B.

Good News.....Bad News.....
Well, the good news is that I input all the codes from you nice folks this morning, and they all worked. Thanks to everyone for their warm welcomes. Mel, Lady, Chimp, Nana, and Stubby, I'm looking forward to seeing all of you on Test really soon! (Stubby, I will send you a couple codes shortly.)
The bad news is that my computer is very sick, and probably has an adware/spyware problem. It goes into the shop this afternoon, which means NO TOONTOWN for at least three days. :-( What rotten timing--just when I had gotten my level 3 gags, too. This seems to be a seasonal curse. My busy season professionally is during the winter months, and for some reason my computer always decides to self-destruct right around this time. Could be worse.....January or February would have been far more catastrophic. Oh well..... Anyway, I hope to see you all on test sometime early next week! Thanks again, Violet B.

Violet is back....
Well, our computer was very, very sick, but it's all better now. We now have new anti-adware software, anti-spyware software, new anti-virus software, the computer is all cleaned up, and hopefully we are protected against this happening again. Not what I planned spending my money on this Christmas, but what the heck.....
Anyway, I'm back on test and trying to get poor Lady Daffodil out of Toontown Central. How embarrassing to be offline for 5 days and return to find that all my 18-20 laff friends from 5 days ago are now in their 30s or 40s!!! Oh well. Back to the grindstone. Violet B.
