Griefer

We are having a big problem with a griefer on test in BBHQ. (tan mouse will mention no name, but will report him) He has found out that clicking on make a friend will disconnect the toon he is asking. He clicks immediately when a big toon enters. The only way to beat this is to turn off the friends list. But, he hits you before you can open your book to do this. I was unable to get on at all on one toon. Changed to another and still had problem. Went to a small toon and had no problem. He wasn't interested in small ones.

I am also wondering about his brown dog companion. They keep running together and talking and they don't go into any course or do anything.

When I came on test, there was a huge crowd stinking him. For some reason he said "Sorry" and left. Do you think he was sincerely feeling bad? I've never known trolls to have a conscience.

Strange, he said "Let's go to TTC" right before he left.

I felt violated, and I gave him a good stinking. I don't know if I should have.

Cliff is my best friend on TT. He was actually coming on to do a golf course with me.

oh it wasnt a mistake - people didnt even have 2 seconds to get on before theywere kicked out. I was watching and it was every person as soon as they got in.

Actually, from when some of these posts were made, it wasn't the mouse you were talking about. Long before he even knew about the glitch, there was a dog who had the "I need to make a friend" task who continued to get people kicked. Wheither this was for griefing purposes or not I do not know. I don't know if anyone saw him as from as far as I could see everyone who didn't turn off friend requests were immediately kicked.

you got me (prince poppy poppenpop) about 5 times. I previously booted ginny quackcorn twice myself before asking her other toon if the friends menu had something to do with it. Apologies to any other toon i may have booted (lula, doodle whisperer...)

I thought it was a bossbot hq bug though. I wound up downloading the vista installer and that "seemed to fix the problem."

Never would have suspected it was another toon (ahem, cough cough) "testing" the friends bug. You're right, that was stupid fun. I'm sure you'll be smarter in the future. Well, I hope so....

Anyone who feels the need to take advantage of a bad bug like that will find themselves quickly spurned and reported by the regular testers! Test is a privilege, treat it as such.

It was far more than just wrong, it was malicious. Doing something like that repeatedly for one's own amusement is far from acceptable behavior.

If he did it once or twice before realizing what was happening, it would have been understandable. Once a tester realizes something like that might be happening, they usually arrange with an SF to specifically test out the problem.
