Still haven't fixed Vista problem!!! Grrrrrr!!!

Okay this is getting really frustrating. They still haven't fixed it, thought maybe they had since it isn't listed in the known issues. For some reason I'm now not able to play via the brown dog. I had it working for one day and then it stopped. Can't get it to load at all now and yes I have the settings changed for the UAC. Oh well. Off to pirates and open I go until they fix that.

Did you change the settings for UAC or disable it? I don't use the desktop shortcut of the brown dog, I just typed the address for test into my browser and click on that. The desktop shortcut seems to change too often on Vista, using the URL always works.

I just logged on with absolutely no problems. Pulled up Colonel Chocoluck and took him just about anywhere. Of courese, he needs stock options after this mornings run in the CEO, but what with a new bug in the cog golf courses, that is definitely out until the fix.

He can always do bldgs, but tain't fun when you need 1100. I feel for those folks who need 10K and above.

Yes with your help I was able to do this. It worked for one day and I have no idea what's happened but it won't work again. I think the next day I clicked on the icon and when that didn't work after a few tries I uninstalled and now it won't let me reinstall. Dummy me. I've double checked several times the UAC settings and have no idea what is going on. Grrrr.

Don't use the desktop icon, use the web address of http://play.test.toontown.com . Type it directly into your browser. Vista seems to corrupt the desktop shortcut.

I tried again tonight and no luck. Funny thing is before they came out with the vista launcher I had it working just fine on my vista using the brown dog. And like you said I just made sure to type in the address and not use the icon. Wish I never switched to the blue dog. And I just can't figure out why I can't use brown dog again. Weird how I had it working for a day. Did you uninstall your blue dog?

I did not uninstall the blue dog launcher, I have both on my computer. Try deleting the cookies for Test and clearing your internet cache.

I just wanted to say you are so smart! Thanks so much it worked. I can't believe I wasn't smart enough to think of this. What do I always tell me kids when sites aren't working right that previously they had no problems with
