Are toons getting pink slips? My toon is 128 and hasnt received any but I'm not doing CEO any more until they fix the problem with cog battles.

Me thinks that perhaps someone new on the staff patched in some updates by overwriting some good code. Maybe some programmers need the 'pink slips'.

Maybe they are so busy reading all the bug reports that they don't have any time to fix anything.

No idea, but I would think that as many bug reports as they are getting that they would want to do something about the bugs.
Wonder if Disney has thought about the fact that people just might get tired of this and cancel toontown.... I know many have just hung in there to see what Boss would be like and at this point I do not think they are real impressed!

Perhaps Disney got really mad, and gave all the programmers/devs the pink slips we are missing, and now they are scrambling to find some way to fix the issues that are on test. The long periods between updates after a new release are certainly NOT what we have grown accustomed to with Disney. They are releasing bugs to the open server that they supposedly had fixed on test a couple months ago. I say, we have hung out this long waiting for boss, let's give em some time to see if they actuallly listen to us and make another boss battle as fun as CFO!

Have you all noticed how often Open is going down for emergency maintenance these days? I know we have always had problems with the cogs and wrenches in the past but it seems to me that it's happening a LOT more lately.

I'm surprised too at the lack of updates on Test - usually with major new content, they are changing things and fixing things fairly frequently.

As for Pirates, the lack of a Boss Battle STILL is just baffling - I know a lot of people on Open got tired of waiting and moved on to other things. Sure, some still have their accounts and will probably come back when and if there are fixes, but a lot said 'forget it' and cancelled.

But I don't suppose we can expect a Bossbot to tell us to fight their waiters and steal their uniforms to serve the banquet. Now as to why it is a Cashbot probably meaning there is no love for the Bossbots by the cogs that make the money for them. LOL
