Yes, that is right and from what we have gleaned so far, any excess points over the kill value of a v.2 cog is subtracted from the lvl kill value of the skel that is left - e.g. - if two standard fogs and two standard elephants are used on v.2 cog of lvl11 size, the remaining kill value is easy to determine.

100 + 42 + 28 equals 170 pts. Then the excess of 170 is subtracted from the remaining lvl11 skel's kill value (156). Hence 14 is subtracted and the remaining kill value is 142. It appears to be true for the most part but the math is tedious to do when you're in a battle.

Someone may question that, but I think we have decided that might be true in most cases.

I thought it was only subtracted if a second gag was used? for example: Just sound is used and the 2 11's regenerate to skels. They come back needing the full 156 for the kill. But say a Organic Cake is used with lure bonus killing the cog and another toon chose a cloud then the 80 would be subtracted from the 156 needing only 76 to kill it. Another scenerio could be using 3 fogs with a 4th toon Caking the v.2 and that would take damage pnts off.

You could be right, I'll not deny that. I just am not totally sure. Good point.

Seems like a great place to put this:
We have done a little checking on this and all I can say is, I am unable to figure out this new Disney math.

Front course, line of 11's.
2 fogs and 2 elephs used...total points 173
Gags used next once the V2 skele was lured:
Cloud...120 points (80 plus the 40 bonus)
Bike horn...4 points
Whistle....7 points
Cupcake....7 points
Banana.....12 points
Total points....150 and still there.

Today, in the Front course
Three fogs on line of 11's
Gag unsed on the new V2 cog...TNT (new) which hit for 131 and cog was killed.

Still working on this to try to figure out this math. Anyone else with notes, please add.

The TNT had to be used in another round similar to the example I gave above, so the carryover does go to the next round as I had figure it might. Kind of nice to have that substantiated. Thanks, Zig!

Yes, it seems in that round it did, however in the first example I gave, it did not. The questions to figure out would be...When does it/does not carry over and what makes it carry over?

Do you suppose the carryover is divided among the skels that are produced? If so, it is like our toonup that is divided among the toons remaining in the lineup when we go out front to toonup.

It does seem logical that if the carryover was, e.g. - 30 points and 2 skels were produced, then each may get only 15 points of damage from the previous hit to their respective cogs. What think you?

Great thought. I will look at that next test.
Still would like to figure out why sometimes it seems to carryover and sometimes it does not.
Will keep testing this and HOPING Disney does not use this math in the final product. Bad enough expecting everyone to know what gags to use with math that works, throw this 'new' math in and runs will be crazy!

Trying to figure out the carry over damage!

I think this is a very difficult formula, but it may be a random percentage. Who knows.

Here is the latest test. One lvl11 v.2 cog left on last golf course. Two maxed birthday cakes for a total of 340 points. That makes a carry over damage of 340 minus 156 which is 184 points. If the carry over was complete, the skel would have died right after he was developed, but he didn't. So we hit him with one storm and he died, therefore, the carry over was greater then 76 but how much greater? We don't know.

On the cog golf course, I saw two birthday cakes and a cream pie take out a v.2 cog and it's skel in one strike. The cogs were lured. I don't remember if the cog was in the far right to guarantee lure bonus on the cake, nor do I remember if the toon throwing it had organic cake. I just remember my jaw dropping and me saying, "Did you see THAT!" As the cog blew apart the skell appeared and blipped out just like when we drop pianos on them.

2 maxxed birthday cakes would be 240, no? leaving a carryover damage of 84? so a cloud would kill.

I wonder if it leaves carry over damage if it is the last cog but not if more than 1 2.0 cogs? I tried it tonight and didn't seem to have carry over damage.

2 maxed birthday cakes on a lured (which I didn't mention) cog gets a 50% bonus so it is 340 pts.

It was a lured cog and the last in the lineup.

Posting this for Princess Snappy Fiddlefoot

Hi! Can't post on the thread but here's an idea...what if the skelecogs after the first cog is killed needs to be damaged a different amount than is normal? Just a thought. If you're really into this, perhaps you (and hopefully others) could start posting damage done to 1st cog, it's kill point, damage done to skelecog. Like... lvl11 - 191(piano, ele), kill, 121 (cake, ele), kill.
With basic stats like that maybe we can come up with a pattern, if not maybe we'd have to look at more info, but it might be a good place to start. And folks who aren't able to experience it could try to help out anyways.
----------------------------------------------------------

We've been trying to get a consensus on damage amount this way. But we need more stats to do so. Nothing so far is drawing anything conclusive that we may ever be able to depend on concerning our gag selection/and strength.
